THQ just announced the game's June 17th release date, which means that tomorrow sees the release of not two but three games on Xbox Live Arcade, contrary to what we might have said earlier. Rocket Riot delivers fast single and multiplayer side-view shooting action, with a stylish mix of 3D and 8-bit graphics that truly shines when you see it in motion, as you can in the trailer below. The game features 80 single player missions, along with four multiplayer modes for up to 8 players on Xbox Live or four players locally.

Check out the trailer below to see if Rocket Riot is the sort of riot you could see yourself participating in. The game will be available tomorrow for 800 Microsoft points.

<![CDATA[Rockets, Riots, Yeah, This Is A Rocket Riot]]> First announced last October, Rocket Riot, being developed by CodeGlue and published by THQ, is looking great. Slated for release sometime later this year on Xbox Live Arcade, here are some early screens of the game in progress, which show that, hey, you can make a Worms clone look interesting.
