Red Alert 3 Commander's Challenge Rolls Ric Flair To Consoles

Previously exclusive to the PC version of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3, EA is bringing the Commander's Challenge add-on to consoles this fall, adding much-needed (Ric) Flair.

The Commander's Challenge add-on provides the player with a series of 50 challenges against a set of nine different commanders, one of which is "Nature Boy" Ric Flair of wrestling fame. As players progress through the various challenges, they unlock new units, new technology, and even more challenges, until eventually they finish the final one and fall back on the couch, completely spent.

Basically it's a whole slew of new content, which is always good. I just hope they price it as an amazing value.

Oh thank goodness! I worried for nothing.

The Commander's Challenge will be released sometime this fall for 800 Microsoft points and $9.99 PlayStation real monies respectively.

Ric Flair Knocked Out By Man In Bear Suit In The Name Of Red Alert 3 Marketing Confirmed

Seems that our sources at Electronic Arts are correct. Professional wrestler and Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3: Uprising star Ric Flair was indeed fighting bears in Los Angeles. Here's video proof.

In part one of the "To be continued" series of Flair Vs. Bear spots, Mr. Flair is assaulted by a Russian bear, imagery that should get the ire up of any red-blooded American male.

I can certainly relate. Despite not being much of a professional wrestling fan, I do tend to have discussions with my biceps while recounting my accomplishments. Never been knocked out by a Commie bear, though.

Rumor: Ric Flair, Bear Suit Spotted At EA LA

Sources deep within the EA borders tells us that professional wrestler Ric Flair and a guy in a bear suit were spotted at the EA Los Angeles gym earlier today. According to the report, "Ric Flair and a guy in a bear suit are currently filming something in the EA Los Angeles gym." See? Exactly what we said.

The source added: "They’re both pretty short."

Bear suit, eh? If that bear suit has standard, alternate reality Soviet military issue armor, we'd been inclined to believe that Mr. Flair is attached to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 in some way. Consider it rumor for now, but hope that bear wrestling will play a major role in our lives soon. No, not just the game... our lives.
