    @Koztah: Yes. A crappy FPS knockoff of Silent Hill that entirely misses the point.

    The first game was really cheesy, and its attempts to crib from the Silent Hill series were hilariously misguided. The atmosphere wasn't scary in the least, and the creature design was laughable--very much like The Suffering. "Archaic medical equipment and prosthetic limbs sure are disturbing! Ooooh! Syringes for eyes!"

    This sequel looks like it's going to be similarly abysmal. #dementiumii

    @THE_MOOGLEKING: Except for the terrible save system (see post below), it was decent. Controlled really well, looked good for a DS FPS. There's a story. Enemies were repetitive and pretty stupid, but what do you expect? If it's your type of game and you can find it cheap or rent it, it's worth a playthrough.

    So, I'm confused.

    Left 4 Dead 2's gnawed off fingers is a big no-no but somehow the ESRB gives an arm coming out of someone's mouth the thumbs-up? (No pun intended.)

    I will never understand how these things work. I would have thought that an image like this would have far more potential to offend and traumatize
    than a wounded hand.

    @Gordon the Ghost: the gnawed off fingers wre only a problem in other countries (If i remember correctly) mainly Germany.
    and even if that wasn't the case, this games is getting a whole different cover for other countries anyway haha.

    @Gordon the Ghost: The ESRB looks at a chart to see the amount of gamers they've angered throughout the month. If they haven't met the status quo they throw darts at a wall of video games. The one that gets hit is subjected to their wrath.
    At least I think that's how it works.

    @Gordon the Ghost: No it wasnt censored here. Only thing that was changed was making it a left hand instead of a right. The censored version was in germany.

    I've never even heard of the first Dementium. This would catch my eye- though the chance of me picking it up would remain slim. Box art hasn't sold me on a game since the NES days.
    (Speaking of shopping for games, I finally found a mint copy of Vagrant Story! It only took 9 years! YES! Cheer for me!)
