I can't wait to play Firefight with my gaming friends.

I can wait for the onslaught of more kids complaining about another Halo game.

Yeah, that's right, I will call the "gamers" who rip on Halo "kiddies" instead of going on about how Halo is "filled with 12 y/o rugrats."

I've been playing Halo (on & off) XBL since 2004, and I have never gotten stuck with a child on my team.

Thank the lord (& Bungie) for creating a Party System & Matchmaking!!!!

@Yossarian: How many MGS games are there? Half a dozen or more?

There are a bunch of games we all can consider "Milking."

Halo is a popular choice because of how many copies it sells every time a new game is released, and how bitter some get about that.

And Kojima's resume really has nothing in it except for that series. So it is my new trump card to play when people start bashing Halo or CoD, but for some reason give nothing but love to Kojima.

Quality is always debatable. Halo is a different game. I don't even really care for it personally, but I can see where it is a very addictive multiplayer experience for many millions of gamers.

MGS, on the other hand, is a little more cerebral. It is for the crowd that prefers subtle homoerotic themes instead of hearing other players blatantly yell out "cocksucker" every time there is a headshot.

I tried playing MGS a bunch of times, it's just not that fun. I'll pick Splinter Cell over it any day.

Halo has made a bigger and quicker impact on the gaming community than MGS did.

Learn to live with it.

I agree Fahey. It will be even for about 1 day and than everyone who owned at the other Halos will own at this. There is only so much ass kicking one man can take.... especially when its from a 12 year old who disses ur mom after every kill.. slowly killin you inside

@Yossarian: Fair point, but it doesn't change that they've managed to do it for several years and keep a fan base that supports their hobby-turned-career. Not many people have been able to do that with machinima, so my hat's off to them.

@Pwnocchio: Damn, I came in here all hot and heavy to beat you down logically based on your initial post, which got emailed to me... but now you edited it and changed it into something vaguely reasonable so I'd just look like a douche posting what you originally wrote...

So anyway, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, including me...

If you like it, more power to you, in my case, I happen to think that they are like Dane Cook. Funny as hell once upon a time, but it isn't a schtick that can be drug along for as long as they have and it still be as funny.

Yeah, I can see the Dane Cook comparison. But once again, I just say, if someone can make their hobby into a career, more power to them. That's everyone's dream.
