The thing that pisses me off about people who hate Uwe Boll is that most of them haven't watched more than one of his movies.
Postal is funny as hell if you ditch the second half of the movie. And my God people, House of the Dead is one of the best movies ever made for watching with your friends and laughing at.
Until he starts ruining Bioshock or Final Fantasy movies, I don't think any gamers should complain. He's not once truly destroyed a game by making a movie of it. He makes shitty movies for shitty games. How does that hurt anyone?
"(where Dave Foley dick is in a very nice shot -i created in inspiration of Jean Luc Gordards work in the sixties…you remember: the black and white stuff with jean paul belmondo…and Verne Troyer gets raped by 1000 monkeys (this was inspired by the later work of Gus van Sant .especially the work he is doing in his trailers…).!"
He has one opening parenthesis, then another opening parenthesis (a subthought of his subthought, perhaps), but only one closing parenthesis. I wonder how long he was rambling before he decided to give up on his first subthought...
Uh, the Razzies site says the nominations aren't revealed for two more weeks, and I don't see anything about this on the MTV movie blog... so where is this coming from, exactly?
@Gray665: I watched it on Netflix as well, though I did manage to watch the entire movie. In my honest opinion, I thought it was a God awful piece of trash. I rated it a single star as a result. There was only one thing in the movie that made me chuckle, but now I can't even remember what it was.
As it was the first of his films I had ever seen, I gave it a chance. I'm sorry to report that it lived up to the low expectations I've always read about these movies.
@FIRST!!!: Tom Cruise's role in Tropic Thunder was funny at first...but it turned into a one-trick pony way too quick and by the time he started dancing I wanted no part of it.
That movie is great, but his role does not hold up to multiple viewings.
Man, I hated Tropic Thunder, and rolled my eyes every time he was on screen (with the exception of the head grip punching the director - I lol'd). Any time Ben Stiller is in front of the camera I just cringe. How can anyone find that man funny? Also. Robert Downy Junior, not that funny. Yes, Tony Stark = amazing, but RBJ as a 2 hour long black joke, not at all. I'm amazed at all the press he's got for that.
In other news, M. Night Shyamalan's next horror film is reportedly centered around an everyman-aspiring writer/director/producer that dumb lucks his way into getting the bankroll during a free spending boom economy to fund one decent flick casting Bruce Willis opposite a cute little kid, but then rolls that 15 minutes of fame into a ten year career of filming absolute crap and bilking the movie-going public out of untold billions of dollars.
These types of people are not affected by these, even though they are nationally known and he's being publicly humiliated. HE thinks what he's doing is great. There is likely a small circle of people who commend him on his work (family, actors, grips, etc), and he feeds from them to continue.
I mean come on, this is the guy who put together a boxing match to beat up his critics. Do you think he really cares about getting an "award" saying he's the worst director? He will not stop until there are no more video game licenses he can buy. Here's hoping that the games we love never become available to him.

The guy who wrote that blog entry (who is a Razzies voter) got the Razzie ballot yesterday. That how he know about the nominees.

"The Happening" has got to be one of the worst films I ever saw. A great premise ruined by an absolutely anti-climatic reveal.

He was hilarious on Tropic Thunder, and he's getting good reviews on Valkyrie.
