House of the Dead 2 & 3 Gameplay

Ah, how I am looking forward to the return of the House of the Dead franchise. Back in the day I played the original HOD on the Dreamcast on an almost daily basis. Now it's coming to the Wi with all its rail shooting goodness and terrible voice acting intact. I long for the return of those dulcet tones... "Reload! Reload! Reload!" Somehow it just never gets old.

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles Weapons Trailer

More Resident Evil goodness for you today. This time we have a trailer featuring the arsenal of weapons at your disposal for doing away with the zombie hordes. Most of the weapons here will be familiar to RE fans but for you newbs it will be a lesson in mass destruction. If this video (and years of RE playing) has taught me anything, it's "get the grenade launcher as soon as you possibly can" followed swiftly by "always keep plenty of green herb on hand." Emphasis on the latter.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Europe Release Date Confirmed

It's official, June 29th is the day to go ape cuckoo as Nintendo is set to release Resident Evil 4 in Europe. No official release date is set for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, but it's still set to hit the stores by the end of this year.

Unfortunately the US release date is still TBA, but Gamestop is claiming they will be shipping pre-releases June 25th. For anyone who wants to grab the import on release should know that the dollar is at an all time low in fourteen years to the British pound, so importing the PAL version means paying practically double. Resident Evil 4 Wii Release Date Confirmed [ONM]

Resident Evil 4 Wii Confirmed, New Umbrella Chronicles Info

The Gamestop listing spotted last week for Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition turns out to be the real deal, as the latest issue of Famitsu confirms the existence of the Japanese version, Bio Hazard 4: Wii Edition.

Essentially it's the same game as the PlayStation 2 version released two years ago, complete with Ada's special missions, new weapons, etc. What's new is that special Wii flavor, allowing you to aim with the controller or participate in Wiimote knife fights, paving the way for my dream West Side Story game.

No word on a US release yet, but you know they will.

Also featured in the article is new info and screens from Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii, which reunites several series favorites on a mission to shut down Umbrella Corp for good. Looks like a first person rail shooter. I'll wait for RE:5, thanks. Michael Fahey
