Yes, the Nintendo store is "only" two blocks down from Toys'R Us. And that might be considered "right down the street" in any other city.
But those two streets are MANHATTAN AVENUES. One avenue is equivalent to four streets in LA, so in reality, it's more like EIGHT blocks down the street.
There's a reason why Starbucks is on every "block" in Manhattan.
Besides, Times Square and 5th Ave (Rockerfeller center) are not considered to even be the same neighborhood by New York standards. Avenue of the Americas divides East Manhattan and West Manhattan, and only FedEx and UPS cross that avenue. ;)

An I thought the Nintendo store was kinda small. At least not as big as the Toys R us. mm I may have to go back and take a picture of the Trex before they take it out.
