So confused on whether I should like or ignore this game. On one hand it looks pretty good and I love FPS games. On the other hand, its a bond game and those are notoriously bad games.
Looks like a no at this point since the PC version has a 30 FPS cap.
@dowingba: My guess was that sanzen was trolling. You have just been trolled. Twice. xD
I read the metacritic reviews for QoS yesterday and it's looking set to be dissappointing... I desperately wanted this game to be as good as goldeneye!
@Jekht: Hey, I want every game to be as good as Goldeneye. But at the end of the day, my N64 is still hooked up for the very reason that no game ever comes close (except...Perfect Dark, obviously).
Activision are the last ones I'd look to for a game to finally live up to the legendary Goldeneye. Seriously people, be careful. I was one of those unlucky folks who got all excited about Perfect Dark Zero, and look how that turned out. It's easily this generation's "ET". And if Rare couldn't even pull it off, how do you expect Craptivision to do it?
@ThatMiamiDude: There's some video on Youtube. Sometimes it looks great and sometimes it looks really sad. That's still a "sometimes" north of all the Wii games that always look sad, though.
Wait I saw this in a game before what was it called? I think in was something like duty to call 4. I can't remember it must of been an unknown game. Anyways I've got to kill some noobs in Cod4 laterz.
@Gen.Grievous: Daaaash! Switch! Takedown! Daaaash! Bond's run, in this... it's not human. He moves his legs, he waves his arms, and the world bends and stretches to his call, warping him forward. Did NOT look natural, did NOT look fun. Did, however, look like a game some reviewers could have fun trashing. Enjoy, boys!
Dangeresque (Kojima-san doesn't have to make Metal Gear any more) was starred

But on a more serious note, what is it with developers and watermelons? Did CoD4's watermelon stabbing really resonate with developers' needs to kill fruit?
I don't really like the song, although maybe it sounds better in the context of the movie. I think I can see what they were trying to do here, something classy like Cowboy Bebop's "Ask DNA" with Bond undertones. But I don't think they succeeded mainly because the singing is absolutely terrible and emotionless.

Too bad though. Company after company tries to create the second coming of Goldeneye. Let's face it. It ain't happening. Just give us Goldeneye

That's the kind of investigative journalism that Kotaku saves for a weekend feature. Can't wait to read it.

The melon smashing in that game was, well... smashing.
