    FIFA 10 "Gameplay" Trailer

Here's your first trailer for EA Sport's annual juggernaut FIFA 10. Curiously for EA Sports, aside from the depth of field effects going on in the background, that really is "actual gameplay footage".

UFC Fighter Left Out Of UFC Game Because He Has...Big Hair

UFC 2009 Undisputed is, by all accounts, a pretty great fighting game. Realistic, too. But there's one thing missing from the game: renowned fighter Clay 'The Carpenter' Guida. And his giant hair. More »

Finally, Cricket Returns To Consoles (And PC)

Been a while since we had a good, new cricket title. That may hopefully change later this year when Codemasters releases Ashes Cricket 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii. More »

Where A Pro Wrestler Dresses Up As Marcus Fenix

Don't know much about TNA Wrestling myself, but I'd imagine that the fanbases of TNA and Gears of War dovetail elegantly. Which explains the following, strange video.

Kid Played Too Much Age Of Empires, So Took Up Archery

Yesterday, the Australian Youth Olympic Festival kicked off in Sydney. Mostly boring. Less boring, though, is the story of the flag-bearer for the ceremony, who only took up sport after being kicked off his computer. More »

Michael Phelps Says His Game Is 'In Development'

Video Game To Sponsor Pro Football Team

Games companies sponsoring sporting teams is nothing new. Sega (Arsenal), Nintendo (Fiorentina) and Microsoft (Seattle Sounders) have all tried their hand at it. But a game sponsoring a football team, that’s new. More »

360 To Sponsor Football Team, Did Not Get Dreamcast Memo

The Seattle Sounders will be joining the the MLS next year. Means they need a big-time sponsor. Lucky Microsoft were just up the road, then, because it's been announced that the team's sponsor for next season will be...the Xbox 360. As such, the team will have "Xbox 360 Live" splashed across the front of their kit, and the Sounders' home ground will also be referred to as "The Xbox Pitch at Qwest Field" during games. Last time a console was the major sponsor of a football team was when Arsenal's home kit had Dreamcast all over the front of it around a decade ago. That did not end well. Lucky for 360 fans, I don't think it costs quite as much to sponsor the Sounders as it does Arsenal (whose last deal cost Emirates airline $200,000,000). Oh, and the shirt's green! That's got to count for something. More »
