It can be said McFarlane make too many Halo figures. A Spartan with a blue helmet, a Spartan with a blue helmet and a slightly different gun...it's a nickel and dime show. More » -

Halo Wars Action Figures Are Real-Time Posable
New Halo game on the horizon? Better get McFarlane on the case, get some small, plastic action figures churned out. Oh, what's that? McFarlane's already on the case? How unexpected. These figures may have been announced in September, but today, here's your first good look at them. They're coming smaller (at 2.5") than the standard Halo figures, and in packs of three, and all colour-coded, because Halo Wars is an RTS, get it? Expect them in March 2009. More » -

Oh Look, More Halo 3 Figures
Can't tell you just how many Halo 3 figures this is from McFarlane. We've lost count. We can tell you, though, that for the first time in a long time, this is a new figure. Not a repaint, not an old figure with new weapons, it's all new. And it's a UNSC Marine, who comes with a battle rifle, a pistol and a trip mine. Should be out in March 2009, along with the other repaints/reissues in the gallery below. More » -

Yes, MORE Guitar Hero Figures
Because the kids can't get enough miniature plastic replicas of replica rock stars from a replica rock n' roll game. Due in stores next February, McFarlane's line of "Guitar Hero Rockers" are 2-inch, stylised versions of the game's main characters, and will be bundled in pairs. If your quarterly quota of McFarlane/Guitar Hero plastic merchandise hasn't been filled by February, they should cost you around $7. More » -

McFarlane's Tiny, Plastic Guitar Hero Guitars
First announced a few weeks back, here's a first look at perhaps the strangest piece of Guitar Hero-related marketing we've seen to date: McFarlane's range of small, stringless, unplayable plastic guitars. It looks like they're meant to be used by the company's line of Guitar Hero figures, but since that "feature" is mentioned nowhere in the line's press release, there remains the possibility these guitars are meant for...well, just sitting there. Surprise, More Halo 3 Figures
Sure, you may have lost interest in the seemingly endless procession of Halo 3 repaints, but have others? Nunh unh. They're still buyin' 'em, so McFarlane will keep sellin' em. These five figures - two Elites, a Brute Stalker and two Spartans - are the latest to roll off the factory line, and will be available only at Wal-Mart and Toys 'R' Us. More » -

Newer, Better Halo 3 Toys
Look, there's nothing wrong with McFarlane's Halo line. They're nice figures. It's just, McFarlane are known for stuff with a little more size, and a little more detail, than the wee little figures they've released thus far. Now this new stuff, it's more their style. They've just announced two new lines for the end of the year: two 12" Master Chiefs (one a Wal-Mart exclusive) and the "Legendary Collection", a series of "non-articulated large-scale" figures that includes the Chief, Arbiter and a Brute Chieftain. The 12" figures are due in September, the Legendary Collection in November. More » -

A Halo 3 Spartan Straight From Hell
I am not allowed to go to the San Diego Comic Con this or any other year, mainly because my penchanted for buying anything plastic, articulated, and limited edition would send me to the poorhouse faster than...well, faster than my normal lifestyle, which says a lot. SDCC sees tons of limited edition toys every year, and these two from McFarlane Toys would surely get my wallet open, silly concept or not. Sold together, the clear CQB Spartan More »
