They've introduced motorcycles into Burnout Paradise; they're introducing movie-themed cars and a party mode, and now this. Tiny little collectible cars, based on classic burnout vehicles. Burnout Paradise Goes Back To The Future
Criterion continues to deliver the Burnout Paradise goodness, this time with a preview of a very special vehicle coming next year as part of their new Legendary Cars series. The Jansen 88 Special is modeled after the Jansen P12, but it's received a few modifications. Once you fill up the boost gauge, trigger it and the car leaves a trail of dual flames behind it, much like a certain modified DeLorean DMC-12 does when you reach 88 miles per hour in it. More » -

Criterion Reveals Burnout Paradise Party, Ultimate Box
Criterion has been updating the hell out of Burnout Paradise lately, and as a rash of new blog posts on their official blog indicate, they're not done by a long shot. Today they've announced Burnout Paradise Party, an offline party mode for up to 8 people due out in February, where players will complete in simple challenges using innovative pass-the-controller technology. The new mode comes complete with some sweet new menus and new achievements and trophies to be earned by people who can at least pretend they have 7 friends. More » -

Burnout Bikes Are Go!
The Burnout Bike update is now available as promised for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Burnout Paradise, with Criterion having managed to update both consoles at once this time around without having to delay one or the other. Good job! Along with 2 different motorcycles to choose from, the update also ads 38 new timed race events, dynamic weather, 70 more freeburn challenges, and a 24 hour day / night cycle that affects traffic density and what events are available to play through.
