    This PSP edition seems to retain all the key features from the AC franchise! it actually looks pretty polished, kind of reminds me of Chains of Olympus in terms of graphical quality! It looks like my PSP will finally be getting some major play time in November- GTA, LBP and AC! #assassinscreedbloodlines

    @Wolfnave: Really, Modern Warfare 2 is a really good game, but I think its not anywhere close to Uncharted 2 . By the way, a gamestop near my house already had MW2 used. I found that hilarious. #assassinscreedbloodlines

    @pd771: Sure, I agree, but as the IW dudes said in the BonusRound episode I watched, "There are so many GOTY awards that we're sure to get at least one of them." MW2 isn't a particularly innovative 500lb gorilla, but it's still a 500lb gorilla. #assassinscreedbloodlines

    @Wolfnave: Right, the so-called new stuffs are just new banners and emblems, perks & guns are 90% the same from CoD4, sure it looks great and I'm playing it diligently too, but innovation ? No. The Demon's Souls online messenger/blood strain system is more innovative. But we all know that small fan base cult games like Demon's Souls is never gonna get GOTY award, maybe if there is some game industry in-house award voted by ppl within the industry, otherwise awards are more based on sales and publicity. Same thing you get rappers as best singer of the year but no jazz singers will grab that. #assassinscreedbloodlines

    @rich8606: I'm guessing they don't want there to be ANY confusion that this is a PSP title.

    Imagine someone watching these graphics and thinking it was the console version: "Ugh! That looks TERRIBLE! No way I'm getting that game when it comes out!" #assassinscreedbloodlines

    Playable characters? Are they still essential characters? Hope you can't kill off Welkin or Alicia. I mean, I never had a problem with soldiers dying in Valkyria Chronicles unless I had to let them die to get a better character, but the loss of Welkin or Alicia would be too much.

    I'm looking forward to this. Having heard so much good about the PS3 game but not having the pleasure of owning a PS3, I'm glad to see this is coming to the PSP. Sure, it suffers from an unfortunate title but hopefully, at least gameplay-wise, it'll be just as good as it's bluray counterpart. #valkyriachronicles2

    @Evdor: My money is on this being more of a spin-off than an actual sequel. I think it just suffers, as I said, from an unfortunate title and that there will be a true sequel to the PS3 game sometime in the future.

    Perhaps their strategy with naming the PSP game as the second in the series was a ploy to entice people to buy a PSP and then the PSP version, perhaps improving it's chances at making more money.

    @-MasterDex-: I'm not sure, due to the not so hot sales on ps3 and the effort pouring into this I can see this being the direction of the series from now on.
    I'm quite happy about it myself, 1 was great but I think it'll really benifit from being a portable game. #valkyriachronicles2

    @Blore07: I think it'll really benefit from being a portable game. For turn based strategy games, I can't sit down and just play them on my console for hours at a time. I find it much more enjoyable on a portable. Like Fire Emblem, I can't enjoy the gamecube version of the game.

    That being said I love the first one and I'm glad for the transition to the PSP, and I like that they're treating it as a sequel, not a spin-off. #valkyriachronicles2

    @-MasterDex-: This is a full sequel in every way except graphics. All the features from the original return in more fleshed out variety, it builds on the customisation options and team interplay, and the gameplay is more of the same, with an added morale meter.

    It's essentially what SquEnix did with DQ9, or maybe Birth By Sleep compared with 358/2 days. #valkyriachronicles2

    @Blore07: Creators have said they'd be up for another PS3 installment if it fits/works for them, and since there is a lot of weight behind it returning to PS3 from the fanbase, I don't see them ignoring it, since, as some people like to point out, sales of the platform have picked up. I'd say mix in some side stories or some PS3-PSP compatibility for the series to balance out or something.

    The creators also said they couldn't get planes nailed down for 2 but will aim to do so in a future installment and would even look into naval units. #valkyriachronicles2

    @Blore07: Definitely one of my favorites this gen. Sadly, my PS3 died and took my 100+ hours save with it :| So...I'll be doing some replaying. It sucks too. Had A ranks on all non-EX missions (including Selvaria's and Edy's missions) and had all but 1 Decoration.

    Was pissed as hell when it happened. Not so much at the console going out (this gen is a crapshoot on that front for me), but at the fact that the HDD is unsalvageable on a PS3 (since the HDDs are locked to their stock console and upon being inserted into another PS3, needs to be reformatted and there is utterly no way of getting to your HDD contents at that point). #valkyriachronicles2

    Handhelds are mad fun, nothing like lying on the sofa or in bed chilling with the game, or having something to game on when you're away from home. #valkyriachronicles2

    @SlashZaku: I had 4 360's and a Wii crap out on me so far, this gen is just laiden with shoddy hardware.
    Which is why I back up my ps3 hard drive to an externl at the end of every month, sad, yes, but when the day comes that my ps3 craps out, I'll be ready! #valkyriachronicles2

    Once again, a lot of hate for the PSPgo, I think next time i'll just skip reading the comments section.

    Just wanted to point out to all the people weilding their PSP's and DS's, your handheld isnt exactly 1 colour either.

    I'm guessing as this is just MR the ones best responded to will maybe see a release, If that Coral one comes out I might actually have to get a second PSPgo, shit is delicious. #pspgo

    The bright red one is the only color that really looks appealing to me (along with black and white). The lemon is horrendous and the bright yellow (weird orange) is no better. A flint grey color would be cool- a dark, rich grey like you would see on a Ferrari or the new Porsche 911 GT3 with the red accents that was shown a month or two ago. #pspgo

    They'll pick the two most popular colors and offer them next year. Never underestimate the power of the "two color re-launch". People like colors.

    Ignoring for a second Sony's attempted forced obsolescence of a product line (oops, we meant to take your money, not give you options!) ... I played around with one of these the other day, and it struck me as overpriced but kind of nifty in its single-mindedness, taken in a vacuum - meaning the "I've never owned a PSP" vacuum.

    You can drag me outside and put me in the stocks now. #pspgo

    @Sustenance: Nah. You know, if the system were priced equal to the PSP 3000 stand alone kit, I doubt people would be waving pitchforks while calling out Sony's name. I still think the price was more important than inability to play games people already own on UMD. If not for those two factors, the system probably would have gone over far better than it did. It does have it's merits... they're just buried under too much garbage.

    I'm still kind of shocked they decided to push the system with new color though. The system's been selling quite poorly everywhere but Japan, and even there it's not exactly raking in cash. I suppose this is the cheapest, easiest, last ditch attempt to sell the system that they could think of. #pspgo

    I like the look of the Bright Red, Camo Green and Coral PSPGos.
