And can you believe the graphics in this game?

After playing the Peace Walker demo, I did just that and discovered just how fun of a game Portable Ops was. try it.
Also, while Peace Walker looks great, I don't think you can say Portable Ops looks much worse.

I don't really have a reason to own a PSP other than this game.

I know you've probably heard this a million times, but why not get a PSP 3000 and a 16GB memory stick? The best of both worlds!
Unless the smaller form is really needed.

MH2U is a very good game. But it's hard like hell and would easily stress you out if you are not an action-game savvy.
01:38 AM
On the topic of games; I'm fully aware of other great titles for the PSP but they just don't sell me on the system like this new MGS can. I played God of War and the other MGS on the PSP and neither really tickled my fancy beyond "that's neat". Actually, rather than all these action games, I'm more interested in the smaller pick up 'n play games like Prinny and all the other recent stuff.

Whats so sad about Hogan going to TNA? TNA is the top wrestling promotion internationally while it continues to grow and gain strength here in the states.
11/30/09
I cringe at the idea that he may be washed up but to some going to TNA might be considered just that, used to love wrestling but now its hard to watch without rolling my eyes.

Maybe with Hulk "way too old" Hogan coming to TNA soon, it'll give TNA the attention it desperately needs to succeed with the World Wrestling Federation.
Good video game or not, the TV show first has to garner an audience before it can truly become successful in the video game market.
edit: Is it me or does like wrestling and video games make me a major nerd, man. XD -puts up loser sign-
11/30/09
...your a nerd because you called the WWE the WWF!

The game is either going to tank or bodyslam the competition.

Other than that, now wrestling games are being treated like sports games, with a new iteration every year (or so).

On a non-pun related note, did they acquite a PSP build from Midway/Warner Bros or is this all from scratch?

It's interesting to see both the PS3 and the PSP used like this - they really are versatile systems.

It's much more likely that the toy store employees will band together with other like minded toy stores into a self government and then launch a Christmas tree at a government building from orbit.

Also, I am SO buying this game as soon as it comes out. I have the older version, and I got to play a bit of Next when it came out, so Next Plus has a spot waiting for it on my game shelf.

Some suggested the iphone/ipod touch. But those are more expensive or require a price for firmware upgrades. (despite the dev software being free)
Also I get the feeling that if they buy a PSP dev kit that they sell for PSP Minis that might be enough to make a few simple tutorial programs. As is quite a few universities in the UK get PSPs for programming training purposes in their labs and this just seems to be convenient like that.
Educational software on handhelds isn't a bad idea regardless of which handheld it is. Now all they need is stuff like the Rosetta program for mainstream users.

But if you're wanting them to be entirely hand painted, then firstly that would be stupid expensive, and secondly, that's some of the fun for some model builders. That way, your model can be a little unique...
11/30/09
With High Grades, you'd probably need to paint some parts or do some heavy panel lining to get it looking presentable.

11/30/09
I'm personally a Master Grade collector and builder, so yeah, they look pretty good. Still have to one day paint the Schwarz Bruder and Rain I have with my MG Gundam Spiegel.
(My Sazabi looks AWESOME though.)
The other thing is that they DO set it up with replacement decals and things so that if you desire to paint your MG, you have the ability to do so.
Now a Perfect Grade...I dunno if that's worth painting.

11/30/09
I think that'd look good in the Gundam Christmas tree.
Admittedly, I'm also not a fan of Amuro Ray, so I suppose his voice actor being there doesn't wow me so much as...Char's voice actor.
(And as a side note: I have Yoshiyuki Tomino's autograph. On the box of my Char Custom Zaku MG. I'm lookin forward to building it.)
11/30/09
I'm going to be getting the Char Custom Zaku MG next month I think, the 30th Anniversary one with Transparent section. Unfortunately, it looks like its only the leg. The Default Zaku has it's Arm transparent, so what I want to do is pick up a Normal Zaku Anniversary Edition, and swap the Char Custom's arm with the Norm Zaku so the Char Custom would have one arm and one leg being transparent. However, I couldn't afford to get too many, so I had to do without buying one of those... yet.
BTW, when I say Transparent, I don't meaan the leg is entirely transparent, but the outer armour is, and it even shows the inside details. I am so looking forward to these things arriving next Month.

The price is the same as the original release, so it's not a full set of clear pieces.
For that special finish Unicorn, could you topcoat it? Or would that ruin the effect? I got the water slide decals for my normal ver. Much better than the stickers!
02:40 AM
Stickers also take me an age to do, but at least once I do them, they mostly stay on.... Appart from some of the smallest ones which always slip off.
04:48 AM
Also, a layer of topcoat at the end really seals in the water decals.
