    We need a better way to sort through music on PS3. It takes forever to scroll through my music lists now that I have GBs worth of stuff. I guess Sony must have changed their minds about dynamic themes and premium avatars. AdHoc Party US is probably a no-go now too.

    This is obviously fake. The menu language is not English and we all know that if there is one thing SCEE hates more than the English, it's mainland Europe. There's no way a feature, any feature, would come to a PlayStation with Portuguese (or Spanish?) menus. #playstation3

    I'll pick up another official PS3 headset (I have one for my PS3 but I'm wanting a second headset to keep in my car).

    Ugh, Sony, no...just fucking no. One of the things I really like(d) about the PS3 was the sleek UI. It was simple to navigate, aesthetically pleasing, and had a more 'mature' (for lack of a better word) look to it.

    You can already access Facebook easily from the web browser (and, ya know, a fucking computer), and it would be nice to not have the UI even more cluttered than the last update.

    If anything, I'd like to see a reduction in the amount of crap on the XMB. #playstation3

    @ThisCharmingMan: what's funny about ur comment is that Xbox live has been down for twice as many days this year (I'm sure we all remember the week when connecting to live would take over an hour if at all) so the point u make seems quite invalid.

    Didn't this happen with halo 3? Yea....and gears2....yea....

    Please do a bit of research before u go and whip up such a bold statement. I bet u love paying More that a dollar per gigabite on ur hard drive too... #modernwarfare2

    @jomama22: Why is everyone so quick to label that post as aggressive? All I meant was that I was unaware Sony had outsourced it's servers, and making the assumption that we pay $50 a year so Microsoft can maintain it all ITSELF. Seriously, you all are very, very defensive. #modernwarfare2

    @RockyRan: it wasnt specifically cod4, it was live entirely, soo many people, almost double capacity, tried loggging on and flogged the servers to hell. xbox is not without faults, but its still remains the better service. simply because of MS's effort (buying dlc as a timed exclusive and so on)

    and it depresses me sony doesnt do anything about it, i love my ps3, but for multiplatgames, i always go to xbox because its almost guaranteed to have the dlc first, or just have better support.

    sony cant fix things as fast because its third parties do all the work, were ms does all their own work, they can easily backtrack problems. #modernwarfare2

    @ToastyUterus: That's beside the point. DLC and timed exclusives are also available to people who have Silver accounts. Gold only deals with online multiplayer, which WAS down several days at once despite it being pay-to-play. Sony has absolutely no responsibility for online play. They allow it and provide basic netcode, but are not responsible in any way for it. Microsoft takes nearly all the load and does it by themselves, but their service is just as prone to these server overloads in times of strain.

    My point is that Xbox Live is down and it also suffers from hiccups. Xbox fans trying to rub this in PS3 gamers is hypocritical at best. #modernwarfare2

    @RockyRan: As a PC gamer, I laugh at both of you. Since *dedicated* servers are run by any number of providers, if one provider goes down, it's a drop in the ocean.

    And I don't have to pay for any service except the internet.

    It's a pity they took 'em out of MW2, eh. #modernwarfare2

    @McWarrior: I play online on my PC quite a bit, and I do agree that dedicated servers utterly destroy P2P. I also have a 360 and game on that as well as my PS3, but I'm just particularly bothered that 360 fanboys find this an appropriate time to yell and scream how their precious Live is so much better, as if actively searching for opportunities to proclaim the so-called superiority of their service (despite the fact that both services are competitively comparable).

    @Deez: When did I even mention the web browser? Way to put words in my mouth. #modernwarfare2

    @MaximumDeer: Why? Activsions servers have gone down on the PS3 side. Whats to assume that thier IWnet won't do the same on the PC side.
    At least with dedicated servers the servers are isolated. One goes down you can hop on another. IWnet or Demonware go down and you have no MP till they fix it. #modernwarfare2

    @deanbmmv: That's my point. Demonware is owned by Activision and they are handling PS3 servers, Microsoft is handling Xbox 360 servers and IW is handling PC servers.
    Just because Demonware is owned by Activision and IW has videogames published by them, doesn't mean anything will be wrong with the PC servers.

    @McWarrior: 55,000 players peak today.
    Compare to 90K on CS:S and 65K on CS1.6. Most anticipated game this decade beaten out by a game that's nearly 10 years old.
    Oh yeah, Operation Flashpoint, a game that also uses P2P matchmaking and came a month ago? 135 online currently. #modernwarfare2

    That "3rd party companies hired to do so" isn't 3rd party at all.
    Demonware were bought by ATVI in 07.

    @deanbmmv: I'm not surprised. At all. Like I said to you earlier, it's clear they wanted to skimp out as much as possible on the servers and overskimped. It's completely unethical of Bowling to pretend it's some external company beyond their control, but IW as of late has been one of the most obnoxious and unethical developers this generation. #modernwarfare2

    @deanbmmv: activision owns demonware, activision owns IW

    IW does NOT =demonware in any way whatso ever

    this is like two siblings. one gives the xmas gift to the other to give to the parent, but the other kid only gives half the presnt to their parents.

    iw gives the server duties to demonware, demonware only supplies half the required space, now iw has to make activision allow more server space for demonware to use.(as it costs money, it has to be rebudgeted in)

    if anyone remembers lack of servers for bf1943, they had to do the same thing with ea, dice had to "request" more servers, and EA had to rebudget them into costs.

    demonware is still a third party, and does not report to IW, they report to activision, #modernwarfare2

    @ToastyUterus: Unlike BF:1943 though MW2 is a physical good, they knew exactly how many PS3 copies they had to sell, so they knew exactly how much server capacity they needed.
    Not a great sign of a company well ran if they can't communicate their multiplayer needs well to an internal company.If they were hiring space from Gamespy, then fine, but as noted these are practically brothers in the ATVI family, they should learn to get on a bit better. #modernwarfare2

    -where the hell are the new avatars? its 2009. either put in new ones. or create a system which we can submit avatars, and they go through some tech approval process. i need some old snake on my psn NAO!!! :P

    -please fix the friends list. mad gray space for no goddamn reason. link below is a great idea.

    -where are dynamic themes for:
    -Uncharted
    -RAtchet and clank
    -MGS4
    please plan for GoW3,FF13,GT5 dynamic themes... ya know games we actually want themes for.

    - please also consider a approval process to change your psn id. i'm one of those fools who chose a damn psn id that does not mach the handle i use on gaming blogs,irc, etc.

    -mkv support would be a nice bonus.
    my 300 gb of anime would thank you

    -and the usual "AHEM" put in cross game chat.

    they got one thing going, and its pretty half assed if u ask me.
