An anonymous tipster writes that Best Buy's next big Playstation 3 shipment will be hitting on December 12. Yikes, I hope that's not true. Sony's been saying that the consoles wouldn't be coming in large shipments, since they are not being flown in rather than boated in, and that it would be a smaller, though steadier stream of consoles.

Of course, they also said that shipments would be hitting constant and I've yet to hear of a store getting more PS3s in. So I rate this particular rumor as possible to fairly possible. Brian Crecente
