”PAL PlayStation Store Update
The PAL PlayStation Store's usual slim pickings gets somewhat of a free pass this week, as with GTA IV upon us I can't imagine too many people clamouring for PSP demos or wallpapers. It's still slim pickings, however. No Echocrome, no PS3 demos, just Ape Quest for the PSP and some Need for Speed DLC.

PlayStation Store Update: Just Like Old Times
Welcome back, PlayStation Store. Oh, how we missed you. After taking a little break while SCE's techy types worked on the shiny new shopfront window, regular service resumes this week with what may well be the biggest single update in the store's short history. From GT5 Prologue's appearance to Warhawk DLC to seven Rock Band tracks (including Still Alive), there's more than enough stuff in here to keep you busy until next Thursday. When the update will be 1/4 as big, and you'll all start complaining again, anyways.

New/More Screens Of The New PlayStation Store
Courtesy of SCE Japan, here's a few more shots of what the new PlayStation Store will look like when it goes live next Tuesday (April 15). Well, what it'll look like for Japan. The rest of you/us, go right ahead and in your mind's eye substitute those indecipherable lines into something like "Latest Demos", it'll be a little more helpful.
PAL PlayStation Store Update
Didn't bother with one of these last week, because the sheer lack of content was just too depressing. This week's little better: sure, there's at least content, but it's still fairly depressing. Oh Patapon Demo, Will You Be My Valentine?
Never fear, loners of the world. If your heart's gentle song goes unheard on Valentine's Day, you can always turn your affections towards free electronic entertainment. Like the Patapon demo, which will be out tomorrow. And not just out on the slightly-annoying PC-PSP store, but the PS3 one as well (just for downloading purposes, you can't play it on your PS3), which should make things a little easier for you.Valentine's Day Demo Download [PlayStation.Blog]
Sony Pulls More Games Off PSN
After Sony pulled MediEvil just last week, they have also removed both Spyro 2 and Crash Bandicoot 2 from PSN UK. They report:
This investigation is highly technical and requires some time to work through. We are making progress and we will be communicating with people who bought these items directly within the next 10 days...For Crash Bandicoot 2 the situation is more clear as its removal was purely precautionary.Note: last week, Spyro 2 was being investigated as a precautionary measure, too. A trio of bad ports is by no means the end of the world, but Spyro is not looking happy, and an angry dragon is the last thing Sony needs on their hands right now.
