XBL DLC Love - Sylpheed, Vampire Rain, Mad Tracks
Along with the release of Wing Commander Arena and Super Contra on Xbox Live Arcade, today sees Xbox Live bursting at the seams with new downloadable content of both the paid and free varieties. Project Sylpheed heads up the list with six new challenge missions complete with six powerful weapons, along with leaderboard support to track your rank. Next up isChocolateVampire Rain, a game described to me as Splinter Cell with Vampires, only not nearly as good. Available free today is VR Bonus Level 2, a mission that has you gathering equipment as Duane Hanson. Mmmbop. Finally today we have part three of the Xbox Live Mad Tracks trilogy, the Bravo Expansion Pack. 350 points nets you seven new races and eight original mini-games. More » -

Here, we have selected top five finalists with the most Squeenix-ey hair. It's up to you Kotakuland to vote for one hairdo that you like best. Bonus points for signage! Hit the jump for the shine and select the 'do you deem most worthy. Note: we are judging Squeenix-style hair, not individual people. Keep the comments positive or feel the brunt end of the ban stick. Let Your Hair Shine, Win Project Sylpheed
Here's the deal: We've got a copy of Square Enix's story-driven space combat title Project Sylpheed for the Xbox 360 to give away. But we're not going to just *give* it away. That's too easy! Instead, we are going to have a contest: a hair contest. What do we mean by hair contest? We are looking for the most Square Enix-ey hairdos! The company is famous for the stylized way its characters look. That means bring on gelled, feathered, moused, layered, sprayed, dyed and perfectly coifed locks. Snap a pic of your 'do and send it to kotakucontest@gmail.com. Remember, you aren't just competing for Project Sylpheed, but also INTERNET FAME. More » -

The demo for the Square-Enix published, Game Arts and SETA developed space shooter Project Slypheed is now up on Xbox Live, just begging for you to download it. The game ships on July 10th for a budget price of $40, meaning one should at least give the trial version of a spin, despite Famitsu's "meh" rating. -
