I mean a single pose figure like this... meh... But with the revoltech one I will be able to do Layton photo comics of any pose and subject/joke/etc...
Oh wait, bobble heads? That makes them much cooler, but I'd still rather get the revoltech other this....
I can see it now...
Layton on the 360 w/ Natal support.
Solving puzzles by contorting your body into numbers.

@Chinpokomon:
This just in: XBox 360 game "Professor Layton and the Village of People" bombs after it's revealed that the answer to every puzzle involves using your body to form the letters Y, M, C, and A.
That's OK with me. I always thought of Layton as more of a portable game per se rather than a console type one.
I doubt I'd enjoy the puzzle games on TV sitting down as much as on the go. While the animated FMVs may be suitable on the Wii, I feel they play fine well enough on the DS already, and the puzzle games would feel more of a chore on the TV than on the DS screen. Plus, don't forget the tactability of the stylus compared to the remote from afar.
I have to wonder if this is going to actually be as strange as that Animal Crossing anime they had a while back. Not bad mind you but it was a weird thing to see.
Looks very nice, but if the story is as bad as the ones in the games (and I loved the games), then I'm not sure it will be worth watching. Unfortunately, seeing as how it's the same dude writing, I can't imagine it will be any better.
Sigh, I wish I was the creator of a genre defying quirky well produced title with a charming international art style that could easily be spun off into animated adventures that hearken back to classic genres long since missing from popular culture. That'd be sweet.
Just going to add to the hate-pile; why the hell was this deemed worthy of a link? The guy rates implied homosexuality as "creepier" than implied bestiality. The fuck?
This is a case of not one but two people reaching, and reaching badly at that, just to make their daily posting quota.
The amount of gay-bashing in this article is shocking. Okay, so Leon and Luis? Never took them as gay lovers but this jackass not only detects a faint homosexuality but he then declares it as a four-star level of discomfort. Why? They're just two men who barely interact in a video game. But even if they were gay lovers, I don't see how this is at all "uncomfortable" or "wrong." Kotaku should be ashamed for advertising this sick editorial of hate.
@jpd44: I'm not sure what's more disturbing, that, or the fact that this guy writes like HE'S ACTUALLY FUNNY.
But yeah, I didn't understand how he even came up with half that crap, let alone acted all 'hahagaylol' about it. It's not just somewhat of an editorial of hate, its a shitty and poorly written piece of garbage. I swore Kotaku was above publishing this sort of stuff.
@jpd44: Yup, agreed. The guy seems to look for - or maybe his warped mind just sees - 'creepiness' in everything. I think the fact that he detects paedophilia everywhere says more about him.

I earned my Kotaku star with a Professor Layton joke. Only two days after my first disemvowelment, no less.
*sniffles* Oh, memories.
