Think about it...somebody with credentials who was deemed suitable to sit in on this conference took it upon himself to stand up and hurl his shoes at a world leader.

Though it's not on the same scale, imagine if Crecente got up and hurled shoes at his laptop at Kotick during an Activision presser.

Or if some angry gamer stood up during a debate and hurled something at Jack Thomson while he was speaking...

Has Obama lied to a nation? Has Obama gotten the US into a mess that it can't live down and is trying desperately to get out of? Has Obama taken away constitutional rights, redefined torture, given the US a crappy economy? Is Obama responsible for the deaths of a million Iraqi? Is Obama responsible for Bin Laden still being at large after EIGHT years of the best military, best espionage team on his tail?

It's funny because many of us were waiting for something as upfront and "in your face" to get the message across to Bush that no matter how much he tries to cherrytop the turd that is his reputation, it won't change anything.

And when talking, negotiating, etc. didn't do much, what do you expect people to do when there's a foreign army in your country? You take these opportunities to get your point across. How many times have there been protesters at Bush speeches?

And no, "future Presidents" won't be less willing to take a trip overseas. I can't even imagine how you came up with this skewed logic. The Iraqi reporter threw the shoes at Bush because of him being Bush, because of the Bush legacy, NOT because of being American, being the US president, etc. Your thought process is clearly flawed when that is what your response comes out to be.

Look at what Bush had on his plate. I mean honestly. Arguably the worst national security event ever in the country's history. One of the worst dictators ever. And Iran has done more shit to us than Iraq has by allowing the republican guard to supply militants with guns and IEDs. If you are a Obama tard who thinks that some magical way he will fix the world you are simply stupid. It doesn't seem like you know a lot about politics other than to spout Bush hate lines. And, also so you know, a lot of Iraqis are glad we are there. So stop saying that they all think Bush is Hitler. The country has become far more free now that we are there than ever before.
