    Sheesh. I was worried there for a second that this new app was being used to find and locate kiddie porn with the purpose of _storing_ it on an XBox...and that you were advertising it (though I suppose if it was "leaked" as part of a sting operation, they could always keep track of who tried to download the software).

    if this is referring to the original xbox, what's the point since they use standard pc hard drives which presumably would work just as well with those 'similiar tools'?

    @B-ryon: The hard drive itself isn't what matters. Your answer is that an xbox is not a desktop computer. The hardware and operating environment are both too dissimilar from a Windows PC for standard drive scanning software to work with.

    Do you think there will be a Wii version? I know plenty of people who use their Wiis for porn. I'm assuming there are also a few who use it for child porn.


    Although I am interested. Is the nature of an XBOX 360 (and by extension, a Wii) hard drive different? Meaning it doesn't use any of the standard indexing systems, such as FAT, FAT32 or NTSC?


    Because I have always heard the XBOX OS is a dedicated version of Windows.
