But not a Dissidia Final Fantasy one!

The Square Enix fan service-filled fighting game is the latest PSP game to grace the PS Pictogram line, with silhouettes of the Dissidia Final Fantasy lineup making this one feel, well, a little phoned in—even if it was supervised by Final Fantasy character artist Tetsuya Nomura himself.

But if you're looking for a replacement for the Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core Porter case you already own, this one's available for reservations as of today.

Price? Just 11,950 yen or about $120 USD. What? You can't put a price on PSP protection, you know.

<![CDATA[Finally, An Overpriced Monster Hunter Case For Fashion Forward Monster Hunter Fans]]> Porter's line up of high priced things into which one can stuff a PSP continues, courtesy of the PS Pictogram Monster Hunter Portable 2nd Generation case. In a rare cross promotion that's actually video game related, the case comes covered in Monster Hunter imagery, bringing the PSP's most popular game series to the outside of the portable. Want one? You'll need 11800 yen (about $119 US) and you'll have to put your reservation in by April 4. Sending us photos of your dandy adventures while expensively accessorized will not be frowned upon.

<![CDATA[Space Invaders To Invade Overpriced Baggage]]> Tokyo based Yoshida & Co. are no stranger to collaborations with video game properties. Yoshida's Porter line has had a long standing relationship with Sony, resulting in a long line of PS Pictogram cases in which PlayStation Portables can be crammed. The pricey Porter line is going to be further extended in 2008 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of Taito's Space Invaders.

The three-way collaboration will give Space Invaders fans a chance to bedeck themselves with bitmapped aliens on backpacks, wallets, messenger bags, totes and more. How much? Don't concern yourself with that. You either can't afford it or simply don't care.

<![CDATA[Nintendo Joins Overpriced Portable Case Game]]> Sony may be trailing Nintendo in the handheld sector, but there is one area were Sony clearly dominates—fancy, expensive cases within which to carry your portable of choice. From Emilio Pucci to Porter to Yoshida to Puma, the number of options a fashion conscious PSP owner has is remarkable.

Now, Nintendo is getting into the game, partnering with United Arrows to release a series of pricey DS Lite cases from Briefing, Whitehouse Cox, and United Arrows sub-brand Beauty & Youth. These handsome leather and suede cases range from 8400 yen ($71 USD) to 16800 yen ($142 USD) and are worth every single penny. Or yen. Label whore that I am, I'll humbly request a review sample of each.
