I can't pick it as my favorite, though, as it's a bit too short and linear. That honor goes to Super Mario World, with Galaxy very slightly behind. #kotakutalktadio

Sidenote: What about Yoshi's Island DS? While I have not played much of it, many of the late-game stages are fiendishly difficult -- and not necessarily in a good way.
Oh, and the music is terrrrrrible

A similar thing happened to the Good Feel-developed Wario Land: Shake It, though I liked that game moreso than YI DS.
It had manageable difficulty and an interesting replay mechanic for a Wii game -- achievements. And while the platforming was decent and inspired at times, the levels are nowhere near as interestingly designed as past Wario Land titles.
I sure hope Nintendo starts developing these types of games in-house once more.

So far, I still haven't played a better Mario game in recent years than Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.
[EDIT: I thought Mario 64 great but it was lacking many cool things like multiple suits and vast level designs]

Yeah, I didn't think hats were remotely as cool as SMB3 suits. #kotakutalktadio

If you answer yes to any of these then grab Dragon Ages. #kotakutalkradio

That persuasion enough? #kotakutalkradio
11/11/09
But for some reason i can't get excited for this game. #kotakutalkradio
11/11/09
If you have a console, I suggest renting it first. If you like it and have a PC that can run it, I then suggest you buy it for the PC. #kotakutalkradio

@deanbmmv: Not enough, but the hot purple demoness from the other day was highly persuasive ^_^ #kotakutalkradio

But yeah, its a pretty solid game, one to add to the list of year end titles. especially if you have $60 you've not spent on MW2. #kotakutalkradio
11/11/09
And i don't play fps...mainly because i suck dreadfully at them, so i still got my $60 #kotakutalkradio

@deanbmmv: lol i don't know, i'm going to buy sacred 2 by the end of the month so i'll probably buy it then as well.
And i prefer some girl bonding instead (^_~) #kotakutalkradio

True there are many who likes that, but girl on girl is more...calm, gentle and capricious.
While guy on guy action it's romantic at best, but it fail at the gentleness.
Girl on girl bonding is more appealing to both guys and girls, than guy on guy bonding.
I've never been interested in guys, so my opinion may not count tho ^_^ #kotakutalkradio

Yeah, kinda sucks. It's been MW2-ness for the past 3-4weeks. And Crecente n Totilo sound like they don't want a continuous stream of MW2 calls but they still field them.
MW2's issues have been covered several times in articles an kotalku. Owen's was the only point covering recent MW2 dealings.
I want some RPG n RTS news.
Edit: It jsut finished. No DA:O or LoL news. :(

For calling Via Skype who do we call?
This post may be edited as I listen.

It does say Skype on the past few weeks on the 'Kotalku is live' page.
Just I'm thinking that you may off added that to keep me quiet about requesting to be able to call via Skype and bypass international caller rates. #gta

Just still get hit with international rates.
It can be pricey for non-US to call kotalku, I was hoping that the option of skype would be skype-to-skype. So free calls for those of us out the country.[kotaku.com] #gta
