After being a QA tester on The Saboteur for over a year, I really hope you guys find the game enjoyable and entertaining. While some may not feel the game is up to par, I still believe in the game and stand by the team that created such an experience. This game holds a special place in my heart and now that it's finally out, I'm finally glad to share the experience of The Saboteur with all my fellow Kotaku-ites. Message me if you have any questions. Enjoy Paris my compatriots!

@godot: I was originally gonna go with that, but my memory of how everyone said her name made me hesitant. I'm gonna go ahead and say that yours is better.

Also, were it not for the "mr," we would've had to battle it out on top of a massive aircraft carrier, loudly singing various themes from the Metal Gear Solid series as we fought.

Somebody told me that if your character fails at a mission or die (can't remember), he screams "Sorry, Jules!" But he sounds like he's screaming "Sorry, Jews!" I laughed.

Eh, is Veronique related to the detective from Indigo Prophecy or what?

@-MasterDex-: Worth it. Its one of the best games this generation. Its really fun and have a nice ridiculous story about French revolution over Nazi in the beggining of the 2 world war, till Russians will start to defend their country and the world.

Like Infamous but without superpowers, where you can drive cars and live in the city as Saboteur. You can destroy many objects by guns or dynomite. Destroy Nazi Zeppelin or Nazi airplane.

Flashback at the beggining in the game is the most epic start i've ever seen in any game.

The only problem that cars have a normal handling and physics but don't crash too much. + some people say about glitches but i didn't see any.

If you have good PC, its worth it and if you like a polish city like Paris. Must have.

@-MasterDex-: It's rather fun and all the main issues from reviews (stealth mechanic issues) can be fixed with a few easy tweaks in the ini file. And it's $10 cheaper on pc.

Good art style + probably best open world shooting + explosions.

@Golgari: I dunno, I didn't like the car handling in the game, it felt too... easy. Like they were guiding you when you turned.

I dunno. But this is seriously a game for guys. (Spoilers? Not really)
Boobs to start out with, then a big explosion, then a race, then a revenge thing, then a race through explosions and gunfire, and then you rescue the broad from a burning building. All in the first hour!

Oh yea, and Assassin's Creed, this is how you make it easy to climb buildings and still have control. The system seems so obvious, but its still genius. Although I still think Infamous did it best.

@crabperson: What I like about Infamous and The Saboteur is that climbing is really fast. I had few complaints with the 20 or so hours I spent with Ezio, but playing Saboteur mere days after finishing AC2, I was very pleasantly surprised by Sean's speed, though it's much simpler. This is similar to Infamous, but I think Infamous gets a perfect balance between quality animation and speed.

It's not as realistic as AC2, sure, but realism wasn't on my mind when I delved into this story of a car mechanic becoming a master assassin simply by being Irish. The Saboteur is fun, really fun, and I regard it as one of the best games of the year.

    @V1L3:
Oh I'm sure it serves some purpose, I'm not refuting that but does it have to look so stupid? I don't claim to know much about how it works but I can't imagine what sort of tech driving it would require a big discoball.

Scratch that, it uses the Playstation eye so it likely serves as a reference point for the camera. Still I'm sure there's some way it could look less dumb.
