From Nintendo's business perspective, why not? Ports are relatively cheap to make, and the Wii has a much larger consumer base than the Gamecube did, so there are probably a lot of people out there that haven't played this. On top of that, the games were good enough to probably tempt a lot of people to repurchase them just to try out new controls.
According to a recent figure on Kotaku, Nintendo first-party software has a higher attach rate than Xbox or PS3. Why do Wii haters hold Nintendo singularly responsible for providing the entire game library?

I think everyone is well aware they're could be more great games the on Wii. But theres still loads of great ones.

i like how out of all the big games this year.. none of them save for dead space, mirrors edge, and little big planet arent tied to a franchise.
lets look at the big games from microsoft and sony's publishing studios lately.. mostly failures and sequels.. especially in msfts camp. besides little big planet, i cant think of one major game published by either sony or msft that isnt a sequel or a below avg jrpg.

I happen to love Donkey Kong Jungle Beat just the way it is on the Cube, not that I ever finished it either. I guess that's something to do.
My gamefly query will look significantly different - and depressing - for quite some time now.
Anybody else experience a complete video and audio output failure on your 360? I'm feeling powerless here.
