A new gameplay video has floated to the surface and is currently being hosted by GameSpot. Creator Ken Levine is on hand to talk more about the genetically mutating plasmids and the inner workings of Rapture.

I had the distinct pleasure of being shown BioShock by Mr. Levine himself and I must say it was the highlight of my entire E3. Being on Major Nelson's podcast and interviewing the great Sir Peter Molyneux were definite close seconds, but being the BioShock devotee that I am, Ken Levine wins the big prize.

As you may or may not have read in my last weekend's note to Ash, I will be attending the BioShock launch party taking place in Boston next month so I'll be sure to grab some pictures and bring you all the details as they happen.

<![CDATA[Clips: BioShock Plasmid Training Films]]>

My day is always a good one when I can post multiple articles about BioShock. Game Videos have some great in-game clips extracted from The 1up Show's excellent BioShock special. These clips are short training films that are shown during the game to show you how to use the various genetic mutating plasmids that can be used in the game. They're quite a clever and quick way to show you how to use your new powers and are modeled after the 50's PSAs that told you how to hide under your desk during a nuclear attack and warned you against STDs. Following each training clip is another short bit showing the plasmid in action. Make the jump to see four more reasons to love this game.

Winter Blast

Cyclone Trap

Security Bullseye
