I'm actually playing Eden right now! I absolutely love this game. I have all 50 spectra, and I"m trying to get all the seeds in levels 7 and 10. So i've done well so far. Unfortunately, I won't be getting the 3 player trapeze trophy. (who's bright idea was that?)
I can't wait for encore. Anyone who hasn't tried this game really ought to pick it up. Well worth the money. Great music and art, and it has tons of replay value.
Ok, i"m off to try and get the 100,000 pollen trophy...
@bakagaijin: Trapeze and 15 time multiplier are the only ones I don't have. Don't think I'll ever get the trapeze one because no one ever plays wiht me.
I'm thinking that one of the bonuses would be that if you beat the game to it's entirety you will be able to play levels in a freeplay mode, a la eternal mode in Katamari. At least, that's something I want for those times that you just want something relaxing.
@DarkSonic999: It must have been all those zombies.@Dennen: Your comment may have been tongue in cheek, but it has some validity to it. In the late evenings/night/early morning they space out the articles to every half an hour, someone probably just messed up the timestamping or the server glitched.
I bought it to support PJ, but this was little more then a stoner game to me, much like Flower. And god yes the soundtrack just..wow. Right up there with the inane jazz of Marvel vs Capcom 2.
PixelJunk eden is dead. The update didn't make the later levels less annoying. The soundtrack was great on the first level and then increasingly bad as the game progresses.
PixelJunk Eden is the type of game that makes you ask "did the developers even play this before they shipped it?" It could have been a truly great, relaxing game. But instead turned into a headache 50% of the way through it. so much potential...
Flower...now THAT'S a fucking masterpiece that's sublime in its presentation and superb in its gameplay and doesn't turn annoying as the game progresses. Too bad Eden missed that high mark...Sony developers, take note.
@Striderhayasa - Can we get some damn m/kb support?!: The last few levels are necessary to make it a challenging game. If you are looking for something to do when you are bored and want something relaxing, play the earlier levels. If you want a challenge, play the later levels. I don't get it when people complain about a game having some levels that are too hard when there are also easy levels.
@CrypticMetaphor: I'm with you on that score. Overall, that soundtrack is terrible. The first track is great, the second is good, third and fourth track made me ask "WTF?" the fifth track was just terrible and got worse from there.
do we have to make it easier or is it an option? I like the game as is right now and don't want it to be easier, WTF you babies are ruining my games damn it!

Ah well, I'm not likely to do it anyway! I do combo seeds to extend my time though.

Not to say that it's a bad thing, though. There are plenty of games I play only for aesthetic.

Why? This game has the most annoying soundtrack I've ever heard. Pixeljunk Monsters had good music, but Jesus Eden sure didn't.
