Go Fig. ]]> jackthompsonchannelnine.pngIn a move completely unforseen by the denizens of Bizarro World and nobody else, Jack Thompson is looking for venues in which to explain his nuanced views on the multifaceted issue of the Oblivion re-rating. No doubt he will be taking both sides of the issue, calling for all employees of Take Two Interactive to be imprisoned for life, while still allowing that some of them may serve society by being lobotomized and then taught to open doors for lawyers at nice restaurants. GamesFirst has a press release in which Thompson gets important facts wrong, and then invites interviewers to ask him questions such as "Can video games really permanently alter a persons brain?" and "Are violent games really being sold to minors?" but not "Are you nuts, or do you just act nuts to get more airtime?" or "Can't you come up with a better scare word than 'pixelante'? It sounds an appetizer at Chevy's. Pixelante taquitos."

<![CDATA[ Pixelante Garb for Charity ]]> pixelanteshirt.pngYou may remember attorney-cum-asshole Jack Thompson's flaccid insult "pixelante," intended to refer to video game-inspired wreakers of violence. Game Politics decided to pull Johnson's limp neologism from his very hands and turn it into a point of pride. Accordingly, they've announced the winners of their pixelante T-shirt contest, and made the best designs available for sale. Proceeds go to charity, so you can stick it to the man with a clean conscience.
