    I refuse to acknowledge the Sci-fi channel as Syfy. Whenever I see or hear it I go into ostrich mode and bury my head in sand. If I don't acknowledge it, it doesn't exist as such, right? RIGHT?

    Or is this post some kind of tacit acceptance of this awful rebrandineering? Ah crap. Should I post this now? Ahhh!

    Join Kotakuites, we kinda do L4D2 n TF2 evenings n such. Though tests n deadlines n such have gotten in the way of settings some up. But if you want events just suggest some, we have a temp officer looking over things.

    @Ghede: The infected children would have to be very spooky looking and then I'd love to play this and be freaked out the whole time.

    Eerie kids are like the scariest thing to me for some reason.

    It's a game folks.. I have no intention or desire to harm the wee folk of real life.

    Scout and demo are obvious survivors, Tank = Heavy. But I'm sure others can fill in gaps.

    @deanbmmv: I'm not one to typically play games online, so any reason to really buy L4D2 is pretty much void, especially when I here that the Survivor AI is worse than the original L4Ds. You could call it a fear, and I'd probably agree, I just don't like the feeling of playing with people I don't know (and I know all of one with it for PC).

    Oh yeah, and I belong to the strange faction of PC users who buy hard copies of Valve games. It's weird, I know (not being sarcastic, or sarcastic about being sarcastic).

    I wonder if they're going to bother taking down servers running all of L4D1 in L4D2. It seems that much easier now. Import all the old survivors, all the old infected models, hell, even the old special infected models for the ones who got revamped for L4D2. Modders already have the levels semi-ported into L4D2.

    @Mit: Well, there are still people playing 1. Since most servers are client run, either through a service or their own personal servers, Valve really doesn't have to do anything besides fix bugs and keep VAC up to date. That won't stop the modders though, but the servers will stay as long as people are playing.

    @FalconMbuster: I'm just saying anyone who purchases L4D2 would essentially be able to play through a free, enhanced version of L4D1, and that's not something most companies would typically be okay with.

    Unless they consider it not as valuable due to lack of achievements and player base, which may be the case.
