    Speaking of indie games, I haven't seen much news about that wiiware cavestory port. I PRAY that it is still in production; to here the title music of cave story on a Nintendo Console (while holding a club nintendo super nintendo controller) would be pure and utter gaming bliss.

    @Grisaille - It's Morphin(e) Time, Mother Fucker!: If you're actually interested in learning, I'd recommend trying out Game Maker. It's designed to be really easy to use, and there's lots of in-depth tutorials, but it's actually rather powerful once you learn how things work. Plus, if you ever want to go on to a "real" platform, the program's scripting language is based on C, so you'll be getting some experience with that.
