Is Otomedius actually any good? I love Parodius, and this looks like its spiritual successor, but part of the fun is from the brilliant level design. Anyone know how Otomedius compares?
I've heard of flat chested but that's a bit too much. I mean I know a lot of people are condemning overtly sexy, naughty, boobilicious anime designs and art but I'd rather have that than be look at Flaty McBoobless here.
I have bigger tits than her! Seriously! (Mine are the man-pces variety so you can all hold your food down).
Flat-chested and big-eared. Nice combination! It's like Paris Hilton with her lazy eye...Great! That's great Konami! You just made me think of a walking STD-plant with one of your games!
@CoralineF**kingJones: I thought we all grew out of this phase when we turned 3 years old! LISTEN! YOU JUST CAN'T GO CLAIMING THINGS AND PEOPLE ARE YOURS BECAUSE YOU LIKE IT! It was cute at two but it's shameful as an adult. hang your head... HANG YOUR HEAD!!!!
@Komrade_Kayce: Actually, I'm a married 32-year-old with a son due soon (we had our 21-week anatomy scan this Monday morning, everything looking good) - but that's not to say that I wouldn't mind being a teenager again. I am a PS3 owner, but "fanboy" is probably a little strong. I find that it's simply the system that best suits someone of my interests (Blu-Ray movies, for example), but I did come very close to picking up a 360 this generation - it's a tough call.
The Japanese obsession with this sort of Manga imagery always bewilders me. If there were pictures of actual women available in the game to perv over then this would have an understandable appeal, but being able to zoom in on a cartoon?
Hmm, if you say so. It all reminds me of the conversation in "Red Dwarf" about how Betty Rubble is the most desirable woman that ever lived.
Now Judge Anderson of Psi Division, (from 2000AD magazine) on the other hand - now that was a fine piece of two-dimensional ass. I'll also allow April O'Neill in the original Turtles.
@BritBloke916: It's not really that tough a call...just own all the hardware available.
Sure if you buy them all at the same time it's going to cost over £1000 but if you buy them individually over the course of a couple years there's absolutely no reason you shouldn't be able to own all the available consoles. By doing this you avoid three very undesirable situations:
1. You don't limit your access to games that are made exclusive to specific platforms.
2. You don't generate a bias for your particular platform, since you'll own them all anyway.
3. You don't generate negative opinions of other people, companies etc because they chose differently than you did.
Your comment, while innocent enough, leaned frighteningly close to the sort of generalized statement a fanboy would make. Don't go down that road! There's no turning back.
Congratulations on the kid. Make sure he grows up in a non-discriminatory-gaming-environment. You'll be benefiting the entire species.
@Atheist Jew: Geez, no harm meant, 'twas only a friendly jibe - hence the winking smiley at the end of my original post.
As for the possibility of owning all of the hardware, I may yet pick up an XBOX360 at some point - the motherboards will get more and more reliable as they use increasingly smaller nanometre fabrication techniques, whilst simultaneously the regular price drops make them ever more affordable. However, I'm currently building a nice gaming PC to hook up to my TV - and most of the games that I'd consider buying a 360 for are also available on the PC (with the exception of Gears 2, at least for now).

Nah, his past comments make him look more like a 4channer or teenager thinking hes cute/clever. You know the type. :P
Methinks he doesnt get that in Japan, this is some run of the mill regular shit kinda *not* targeted at 13 year old boys, but the pervy older crowd.
That said... I own a copy of DoA Xtreme 2, yes. Whats your point? :P
