Yeah...I don't think I was even alive yet when the Commodore was prominent. There's very little point in releasing C64 games on Virtual Console, except as filler. Nintendo can say they're still releasing games on it, but none of them are good, ESPECIALLY not $5 good.

do not want. especially when I can get Startropics or Castlevania 3 for 500 points. Seriously, talk about a dumb-ass price point. These should probably cost half of that and be impulse buys. Even if you like this whole C64 thing, you've gotta admit that there's something up with that pricing strategy.

To me, this is the worst thing to show up on a Nintendo console since Wii Music, maybe even since Quest 64. Again, sorry if you like 'em... yrmv.

Onslaught seems to have some nice quirks for a shooter. You get defenders, sorta like an FPS version of the satellites in R-type. And some sort of whip. For $10, it sounds unquestionably worth the money.

great, another system inclusion i never played and have no interest in, taking up one more slot every week that's not a VC title. i'll overlook this, Ninty, if you'll just release FFIV already.

@dry-roasted-peanuts: I get that there's bad blood between Nintendo and Square. But, even though I agree that you're probably right, why has ActRaiser shown up on VC (and even Super Mario RPG) and why will they continue to put out the re-releases of early FF games on the DS? "Money talks," sure, but why does it only speak loudly enough in these seemingly random cases?

Esp. since Dragon Warrior was published by Nintendo themselves in the US.

@Setzer IIDX: The funny thing is, a lot of these games count as freeware at this point.

What they need to do is focus on modern downloadable games and multiplayer N64 games.

It'll be one randomly generated dungeon that loops over and over with enemies that never end...with co-op.

I'm seriously wondering how this will fit, but I suppose other Wii ware games are pretty big as well.

Though not having a large drive for space is holding me back from buying anything on VC or WiiWare.

If this controls like MP3, I'll pick it up. That's a big "if", I guess, but that game was seriously brilliant. Then combine it with 4-player co-op? Show me where to sign up. I just hope that includes offline co-op, because I don't actually know anyone out here.

And this is probably the first thing on the Wii that has genuinely excited my pants in a long, long time.

Not the Conduit. Although it looks gorgeous.

Not Madworld, although it looks insanely fun.

This little thing here, a four player FPS co-op game (Im going to assume online, I may be very very wrong) just exploded a part of my brain. Its like... a proper XBLA release, only, its a *new* game and not just an old PC port with upgraded features (I still love you Duke and Doom Marine Guy, I promise).
