Actually, my girlfriend loves this game, and she hasn't had much experience with Magic. Yes, it stinks that you can't customize decks ... but, it lowers the barrier of entry without destroying the game.

I bought the 1st expansion ... not bad - it's got a mini-campaign, three new decks, and some more of those fun challenges. It's definitely been worth the price of purchase for the amount of use it's gotten.

Glad to see there are more expansions on the way!

Bah. I still have my Duels of the Planeswalkers by Microprose from '94. It took some tweaking to get to run on a modern machine but it's still the best MtG game out there.

Just wish there were more cards for it. Like Stangg. #magic

I'd be interested in something like this WITHOUT the earpiece with standard jack.

Would be interesting to play with speakers on and eliminate that awful echo effect. #modernwarfare2

Shame this isn't out on PC, might of picked one up.
Having a mic in front of your face can be a bit off putting sometimes.
Though I like using a headset for FPS, so I dunno...
Though I have an old mic headset lying about, hmm could be a good weekend project....

Edit: weekend project would involve turning a regular PC mic into a throat mic. not converting this to work on PC, this has the wrong type of connector for even a 2.5mm to 3.5mm to work. Hooray for propriety hardware.

@deanbmmv: Just do the simple thing, wear headphones and use a mic. I used to wear a cheap headset with a mic around my neck and my good headphones around my head.

The jack just looks like a mini jack. You should be fine connecting it to your computer with either a adapter, or just cut the wire and make two 1/4'' jacks. #modernwarfare2

@sereal: It looks like a mini jack, but it's one plug for two things, whereas on a PC pic you'd have the separate 3.5mm mic n sound plugs.

But yeah, with a neck mic I'd still use a headset. Just don't need a headset/mic combo one. #modernwarfare2

360 controller just registers as a HID device, not a sound device. I't'd be annoyingly redundant too having to hook up a 360 control pad, then hook this up with the controller hanging off your neck while playing games. #modernwarfare2

@deanbmmv: It's the same mini-headphone jack cell-phones use, it just has an extra band on it to seperate the mic input from the shared ground. #modernwarfare2

@deanbmmv: Yes, but if you were to cut the wire you would see a wire for the mic, and a wire for the earpiece. A converter would do this too except be more expensive. #modernwarfare2

@deanbmmv: Yes, I would guess the wires would be pretty thin. My solution would be to buy a female minijack connector and wire it that way. Length can be fixed with a extender.

Either way, it won't be long till we see some better quality PC ones showing up. #modernwarfare2

@deanbmmv: all I can say is that 360 mics are recognised as usb audio on win xp when hooked up (or "paired" in my case as I have a wireless mic) to a 360 controller. #modernwarfare2

I still get a good chuckle out of the miniguns on the HUMVEEs. All we had were .50s and MK19s, I couldn't imagine rolling around with one of those. lol. #modernwarfare2

I refuse to buy this game unless they provide me with a gimp mask headware option... ... ... OK so I'm lying and it's a day one purchase for me. But a gimp mask would make this game rock so much harder you see.

Maybe have it as an unlockable option when you hit the MW2 equivalent of the gold cross!
