@malio: Good thing Sony came up with a unified online service and a user profile system that automatically tracks your game saves and scoring across multiple games so that Microsoft could copy that from them. The 360 would be so much worse without those stolen features!

Microsoft and Nintendo should change there partnership from just certain games, to consoles. The both of them could become the biggest console winners of the THIS-GEN war. Connectivity between wii and 360 games would be a perfect way to make us fork out more cash for certain games....

@Hellion86: Comments like this make me want to resort to insults. But then I realize that the burden of guilt lies on the brainwasher, not the brainwashee, and my anger subsides.

The 360 and PS3 are pretty much toe-to-toe for 1080p content when it comes to games. 1080p disc-based titles are a drop in the bucket for both systems. The majority of multiplatform games that run at different resolutions between 360 and PS3 actually tend to render at lower resolution on the PS3. GTA IV and The Darkness are among the games that are less than 720p on PS3.

In a nutshell: when it comes to games, the 360 is as 1080p capable as the PS3.

@Toasticus: In actually, the 360 is actually better at upscaling. It has a dedicated processor for this and actually supports a larger assortment of video modes and signals because of it. The best part is that it does it all for free (with no added stress on the GPU unlike some other systems that may have to up or down scale while sending out to the front-buffer).

As someone who got into the NXE early I can say that almost all of the little sliding-window-looking things are promotional garbage. Everything on the Spotlight section is anyways. I dunno, I love the new dash and Streaming Netflix is glorious and a half, but it seems to have a lot in the way of filler.

Channel?

That's the game info page.. Every game has it.. You go to the marketplace, select a game and you're taken to the game's main page where you can see screenshots, game info, check out recent DLC for that particular game, etc..

It has nothing to do with Wii's channels..

@Brian Crecente: Honestly Cresente most of Kotaku has used sensationalist headlines to get attention. Nothing wrong with it as it is sometimes very obvious.

The headline made me think there was something going on with MS and Nintendo. Maybe some quotation marks around Wii channel. But far be it from me to tell you how to run the site. cheers.
