The woman represents the essence of femininity, with her nakedness a sign of freedom, innocence, and self-image, whereas the banana peels represent all the wrongs in our society, whether it is sexual harassment, preferential treatment towards males, the media and society's definition of beauty, and expectations for the 'modern woman', causing her to slip, lose composure, and fall utterly from grace. Its rather depressing really.
