    It's hilarious because in DJ Hero you can have a "spectator" mode that lets you just listen to the music, defeating the whole purpose of having someone play the game. Or for 10 bucks tell a kid to switch songs after it's done. #djhero

    @Platypus Man: Jesus, not only did UNC wear Duke blue uniforms, their goalpost wraps were Duke blue.

    What the hell was this, WCHL Self-Loathing Walmart Tar Heel Night? Not only do they hate the fact they're fans of a school they never attended, they hate it also trails Duke in the ACC's Early Admission Division? (aka Duke, UVa, UNC, etc.)

    "Ah got accepted at Chapel Hill but it din't have a U.S. News first-tier air conditioner repair department."

    Get used to it in West Raleigh, gents. Even the barbers at the Man-Mur will point proudly to their license on the wall and call you a redneck for that State sheepskin.

    @Platypus Man: I'm applying this fall. If I don't get in, someone is really crazy in the head and I'm not worried about it. I'll be coming in next fall. I'm keeping my options open, but it seems like the best engineering school for me (no way in hell am I going to dook, or getting accepted there. besides, they don't have my major.)
    Oh, and I'm from the Winston-Salem area too (Kernersville to be exact) but have lived in the HP/G-boro for a while also. So what high school did you go to? (I go to Glenn High School and we're actually really good at football this year.) #djhero

    @RROD74: While they aren't exactly the Duke colors, they decided to make their alternate jerseys look decently like Duke blue, or at least to put as little Carolina blue in it as possible.

    And of course they don't look bad. They look better than normal, primarily because Carolina blue can get nauseating... #djhero

    @RROD74: When I was growing up (Elkin N.C. — tha 919-835 in tha hizzy!!! I'm aware the area code is 336 now.) there were two shades of blue. If you were talking about sky blue or light blue, you said "That's Carolina blue." If it was darker blue, you said, "No, Duke blue." So, UNC wore Duke blue jerseys on Thursday. I rest my case. #djhero

    I have an amusing story about the ol' county fair once. I was their with a friend, who was the kind of guy who could talk to anyone, start conversations with complete strangers. And he did so with one of the carnies working a tee shirt booth.

    Eventually this guy sees my left arm, which has a decent sized tattoo covering the forearm. This excites him, and I figure its because he also has tattoos, which I can see cover up all of his exposed arms.

    But no, not exactly. He beams brightly at me and says, "cool ink man, check mine out!" He proceeds to put both arms up, fists pointed at the sky, bringing his own forearms together. I see now that his tattoos, impressive on their own, create a pair of words when pressed against one another.

    White Power.

    And he assumed, me being white and apparently because I too had a needle poking my body repeatedly for hours, that I would agree with this statement.

    I did not.

    Did I say amusing? I meant horrifying. Horrifying story. #screengrab
