Sigh... when will people understand that its only Racist if you see it as racist.
Giving Sheva a tribal costume was not racist. Especially when the 'Sheva Only' weapon was a bow. And I'm glad they decided to not throw her into Robin Hood garb.
They put goddamn Chris in Safari gear. He looks like a tool anglo saxon german bush hunter. Racist? No.
Would you rather have dressed Sheva in some rags? Maybe a business suit would have made more sense. Or perhaps a monks robe. Would you have wanted to throw her in any of these unless for the retarded factor? Probably not. Hell, she got a 'Clubbin' costume that goes quite well hand in hand with Chris' goober one, except Sheva in Clubbin kinda gives me a Sin City vibe which is pretty sweet.
But the tribal costume... cmon. As a white guy, if I wanted to try to hide in the trees (and had any skill to do so) I certainly wouldn't be wearing a bright orange jumpsuit. I'd be wearing tribal gear to keep cool with little to no clothes and war paint if I was going native.
Maybe you didn't notice that one of the two primary bad guys in the game, Excella, had the same skin colour as Sheva and ran the entire African division of TriCell, while wearing a white dress sort of thing.
Gods. You're just as bad as the lady trying to say Castle Crashers was a bunch of 'White' knights slaughtering hundreds of 'Coloured' bad people.
