If you didn't download the pack, here's a revealing look at what you've been missing.

Frankly, I think the four bucks is a small price to pay to improve upon Ayane's look and give Rachel something more business-like to wear. But it's also four bucks worth of virtual clothing. You'll have to judge for yourself.

<![CDATA[Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce Brings The Online Multiplayer In February]]> Koei has announced a February release date for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the first game in the series to feature online multiplayer, as well as Ninja Gaiden guest stars.

An upgraded version of the PSP game for console players, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce brings the battle for ancient China online, allowing up to four players to participate in raids, take on giant enemies, or simply battle it out competitively. Strikeforce also features new Fury transformations, drastically changing the look of your character, granting them new powers, enhanced speed, and the ability to fly. It almost sounds like they've taken a page from Dynasty Warriors: Gundam.

The console version features more than 40 exclusive missions, an enemy Hyperbreak gauge, command of up to three AI-controlled officers in single player mode, a new character, and the ability to trade officers online with other players.

Now how much would you pay? But wait, there's more!

Both versions of the game will feature exclusive guest characters, with the PlayStation 3 version scoring folks from Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and characters from Warriors Orochi 2 for the 360 version. Completing challenges with these guest characters allows players to use their signature weapons in combat.

All of this, plus planned DLC to keep the game fresh for a long time coming. It sounds like a Dynasty Warriors fan's dream come true.

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce hits store shelves on February 16th.

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Gets Fashionable DLC]]> Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 gets a little bit dressier next week, when a new costume pack goes up for sale on the PlayStation Network.

Ayane, Momiji, Rachel, and Ryu each get some fancy new duds in next week's Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 costume pack, available on November 19th in North America for $3.99. Momiji shows off her meaty thighs in her Matsuri Festival costume; Ayane sports the latest Venice Festival fashions; Rachel dresses up like the other sort of New York Working Woman; and Ryu prepares to hide in a snow bank with his Special White costume.

Seems like Ryu is getting the short end of the stick here, but then Sigma 2 was never really about Ryu, was it?

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Gets Its Own Pinball Table]]> Juggle balls with Ryu, Ayane and friends with a special Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 table for Zen Pinball, coming to the PlayStation Network later this month.

Zen Studios' Sky City-themed Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 pinball table will attempt to capture the frenetic action of Tecmo's game, with five multiball game modes, tons of missions, weapon combos, electrical ramps, and something called "ball slicing effects" which actually doesn't sound all that appealing. I'm not all that sure I can bring myself to spend my hard-earned dollars with anything that carries the phrase "ball slicing" in its description.

The table is tentatively scheduled for an October release, so stay tuned to PSN and the ZEN Pinball website to know when you'll be able to get your ball slicing on.

<![CDATA[You've Got Ninja Gaiden In My Dynasty Warriors]]> Hey, Tecmo and Koei merged. And now their games are merging. Hooray!

Ninja Gaiden character Ryu Hayabusa will be appearing in Koei's PS3 version of Sangoku Musou Multi-Raid as an unlockable costumed character in armor, while Warrior Orochi's Nu Wa on the Xbox 360 version of Multi Raid. And costumes of Multi-Raid characters Sun Shang Xiang and Zhao Yun are going to pop up on the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

We look forward to seeing Dynasty Warrior character relaxing on the beach with the girls from Dead or Alive Xtreme. Make it happen, Koei Tecmo!

<![CDATA[Crazy Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Boob Shaking]]> Tecmo is bringing motion controlled jubblie juggling to Ninja Gaiden Σ 2. We've seen what men look like playing with the special feature.

But we really haven't gotten a good look at it in action. And look at them — in action. We're not quite sure what to make of this. Nobody really is.

In Ninja Gaiden Σ 2, players can control the breasts of certain characters by moving the PS3's SIXAXIS motion controls — something not possible in Xbox 360 title Ninja Gaiden 2. Progress?

<![CDATA[Let's Watch Men Watch Bouncing Jubblies]]> Some men like boobs, some don't. Ninja Gaiden Σ 2 has bouncing boobs in the game. This is probably what said men look like watching breasts go up-and-down up-and-down.

Don't miss the old man in the bathrobe with the glass of red wine. He's relaxing.

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 In Comic Book Trailer Form]]> Ninja Gaiden Σ 2 is coming to the PS3 — it is a PS3 exclusive! Here is the "final" trailer for the game.

The beginning of the trailer is a very cool, comic book style clip. The rest of it is traditional game trailer stuff. More comic book stuff, please!

<![CDATA[New Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Screens Assassinate Subtlety]]> Team Ninja's not necessarily known for their restraint, as new Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 screen shots helpfully illustrate. There's a heavy emphasis on co-op action, should you be able to decipher what's happening on screen here.

Plenty of shots of Ryu, Ayane, Rachel and Momiji in their alternate costumes in the latest batch of media, as well as a good look at Fiend Ryu, that sonofabitch some of you may remember from Ninja Gaiden Black. While there's plenty of deep cleavage on display, there's no indication here of the game's promised Sixaxis jiggle support. But if you like your ninja outfits beyond outlandish, these are the screens for you.

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Gets Sixaxis Jiggle Support]]> The PlayStation 3's motion sensing Sixaxis controller features don't get much attention these days, but Tecmo is about to change that, as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 reportedly uses the technology for boob jiggling. Ever the innovator!

According to reports from IGN and The Sixth Axis, Tecmo will give PS3 owners full control over the overflowing cups of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2's ladies. Whether that jiggling applies to all characters equipped with massive breasts—Ayane, Rachel and Momiji—remains to be seen, but is probably a safe bet.

We've checked in with Tecmo PR to verify that potentially game changing information for ourselves and were told by reps that, yes, that jiggle feature is true.

Hats off to you, Team Ninja. It would seem that the departure of Tomonobu Itagaki hasn't made you miss a step.

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Ad: "Japanese Women Are Frightening"]]> Developer Tecmo has tongue planted firmly in cheek for this Ninja Gaiden Σ 2 spot that is a send off of a Japanese shampoo ad.

Tecmo uses the tag line "The women of Japan are frightening" (日本の女性は、恐ろしい。) as it shows the lovely ladies of Σ: 2 slicing up bad dudes. The phrasing is a parody of the catch phrase used in a shampoo ad: "The women of Japan are beautiful" or 日本の女性は、美しい。)
The original TSUBAKI shampoo ad features a song from super boy band SMAP, while the Tecmo one features cheesy music. No wait, they both feature cheesy music. Whatever!

<![CDATA[Tecmo Puts Boobs On A Wall To Sell Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2]]> One might think that having tits as big as your head would be a hindrance in pursuing the ninja arts, an assumption proven wrong by Ninja Gaiden's Team Ninja, who loves giant boobs. So why not promote 'em?

Looks like Tecmo of Japan is doing that very thing, throwing a pair of double Ds on a construction wall, illustrating one of the hurdles that the more voluptuous ninja might have to deal with during stealth missions. Yes, this is apparently an ad for Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, due to up the massive jugs factor on the PlayStation 3 any day now.

That CERO "D" rating is just a happy coincidence.

<![CDATA[Ryu And Momiji Work Well Together]]> Here's five minutes or so worth of the co-op gameplay PS3 owners will see when Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 launches this September.

It looks like a great deal of fun, doesn't it? I haven't really gotten into the Ninja Gaiden games since the first one on the original Xbox kicked my ass from here to next Tuesday, but there's just something endearing about getting your ass kicked with a friend. I can fill in the role of the hapless, comic relief character, making Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 into a sort of ninja buddy cop movie, with the tough-as-nails veteran and the unskilled new guy with a heart of gold.

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Dated And Detailed For America]]> Tecmo has announced a late September release date for the PlayStation 3-exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, with a limited edition available at GameStop for those of you with excess monies.

North America is beating Japan to the punch by a whole two days, with a release date of September 29th as opposed to Japan's October 1st. North American players who preorder the game from GameStop can spend the extra two days pouring over the 80-page that comes with the Collectors Edition of the game, if they're willing to part with an extra $10. $69.99 nets you a copy of the game along with the special book, which contains a 30-page print version of the in-game digital comic, a mini-strategy guide, some artwork, and commentary from Team NINJA producer Yosuke Hayashi and the team's lead artists.

Those who preorder the game from GameStop will also gain access to a special costume for Ryu, the character least likely to be played in Sigma 2, with three sexy female fighters up for grabs in the form of Rachel, Ayane, and Momiji.

So give us your thoughts! Will you be paying an extra tenner for the book, or is the game good enough on its own?

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2's Momiji In Action]]> The PlayStation 3 version of Ninja Gaiden II, now with extra Sigma, will feature more than just a playable Ryu Hayabusa. You'll also play as the anatomically impressive Rachel, a trashier looking Ayane, and the expectedly stacked Momiji.

This is Momiji in action, looking far more detailed than her appearance in Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for the Nintendo DS. All that smooth upper thigh rendered by the Cell processor will absolutely ensure that Ninja Gaiden Sigma II will be far sexier, less bloodier than its Xbox 360 predecessor.

If you're not convinced by minute seven of this clip, there's no convincing you. And you're no fun!

Say, is that camera fixed yet? If so, I'll buy, Tecmo!

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Dated And Detailed For Japan]]> Tecmo is bringing Xbox 360 exclusive Ninja Gaiden II and big guns to the PS3 with Ninja Gaiden Σ 2.

It has a few new game modes (including online co-op), some new characters and a whole range of fixes for the problems that plagued the 360 edition such as better camera control.

The game will be released October 1 in Japan and priced at ¥7,800 (US$81). Those who pre-order the game will get a "starter guide book" and a code for an original downloadable Ryu Hayabusa character costume.

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Has Really Big Guns]]> Ninja Gaiden publisher Tecmo and Dynasty Warriors factory Koei were officially merged in April. But today, the two Japanese powerhouses spawned a European subsidiary. So we though we'd celebrate the good news with screen shots of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Specifically, we wanted to upload these screens of Rachel, ones that we didn't get around to at E3. For posterity and such. While the Tecmo Koei union is probably a good thing in the long run, if it in any way affects Team Ninja's subtlety in creating the female form and/or given ninjas gigantic guns, we're gonna be pissed.

Feast thine eyes upon this buffet of PlayStation 3-exclusive screen shots!

<![CDATA[Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Impressions: If It's Broke A Little, Fix It A Little]]> I didn't like Ninja Gaiden II much. From what I saw of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, though, I like it a lot better. Amazing what an extra 12 months development time can do for a game, isn't it?

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is a remake of Ninja Gaiden II, first released around a year ago on the 360, only this time it's bound for the PlayStation 3. It has a few new game modes (including online co-op), some new characters and a whole range of fixes for the problems that plagued the 360 edition. While I didn't get any hands-on time with the game, I did sit down and watch new Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi play through a few levels.

Firstly, and most importantly, the camera has been vastly improved over NG2's shoddy system (which was the main reason I never really got into the 360 game). No longer will it get stuck behind walls, or lag too slowly behind your character; it's crisp, maintains a constant following distance and zooms in and out of the action smoothly.

Also improved are the game's visuals. You'd expect this, with the remake coming a year after the original, but the fact remains, this looks better than the 360 edition. Cleaner textures, better effects, that sort of thing.

The one other significant change to the original is the addition of some extra characters: Ayane, Momiji and Rachel. Hayashi spent most time showing off Ayane, and using her makes for quite a different game, her shorter reach and greater speed changing the way you approach the game's enemies.

Aaaaaaannnnnd that's about all I could gather from the demo: the fact this is Ninja Gaiden II, only with an extra 12 months' worth of polish, fixes and a few new additions. Since the game went down so well on 360, it should be received just as well on PS3 when it ships sometime this Fall.

I'll just be at the store, buying more popcorn for tomorrow's night's E3 clip binge.
