The tracks?

You already know. “Claudette”, “In Dreams,” “Mean Woman Blues,” “Oh, Pretty Woman,” “Ooby Dooby," and “You Got It,” six tracks that span nearly years worth of Orbison's career. Pricing is the standard $1.99 USD (160 Microsoft Points) per track or $9.99 USD (800 Microsoft Points) for the full half-dozen. They'll hit Xbox Live Marketplace on January 6th, the PlayStation Store on January 15th.

Good work, Harmonix. You're this much closer to a copy of Rock Band being purchased by my dad. No joke.

<![CDATA[Rock Band Will Go SPACE TRUCKIN'! (Come On!)]]> Let's go space truckin'! When Deep Purple's song of the same name hits Rock Band next week, that is. That high powered classic rock jam is part of next week's DLC melange, an odd assortment.

Jethro Tull, Snow Patrol and James Gang join Deep Purple to ring in the new year, Rock Band style. Beginning December 30 — PlayStation 3 owners will have to wait patiently until January 8 to get these tracks — the following downloadable tracks will be available for Rock Band and Rock Band 2.

• Snow Patrol “Take Back the City”
• Deep Purple “Space Truckin’”
• James Gang “Funk #49”
• Jethro Tull “Hymn 43”

Tracks are $1.99 (or 160 Microsoft Points) each and are, of course, masters.

<![CDATA[Rock Band Gets A Bit More Foo For The Holidays]]> If you were a little underwhelmed by yesterday's "Rockin' the Holidays 2008" track pack for Rock Band announcement, you probably read the announcement. Don't worry, the Foo Fighters are here to bring DLC cheer.

Harmonix announced today that another batch of Foo Fighters tracks will join the downloadable content provider of your choice next week. Those tracks would be.

• Foo Fighters - “DOA”
• Foo Fighters - “Times Like These”
• Foo Fighters - “This Is A Call”

Price is $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) for each track or $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points) for the three-pack. Yay!

<![CDATA[No Doubt About Rock Band's Next Batch Of DLC]]> Harmonix has confirmed what the band No Doubt announced last night — thirteen tracks from the group's The Singles 1992–2003 will be available for Rock Band next week. Which two songs didn't make the cut?

That would be "New" from the band's album Return of Saturn and "Trapped In A Box" form its self-titled debut. You'll still get thirteen solid gold hits, each for $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) or the whole shebang for $19.99 (1600 Microsoft Points). The Xbox 360 version gets it first on December 9, with the PlayStation 3 versions landing two days later.

Read on for the full track list.

1."Just a Girl"
2."It’s My Life"
3."Hey Baby"
4."Bathwater”
5."Sunday Morning"
6."Hella Good"
7."Underneath It All"
8."Excuse Me Mr.”
9."Running"
10."Spiderwebs”
11."Simple Kind of Life”
12.“Don’t Speak”
13.“Ex-Girlfriend”

All tracks are, as expected, master tracks. As for the missing numbers, we might theorize that "New"'s inclusion on the Go movie soundtrack had something to do with it and that "Trapped In A Box" — being the only track from No Doubt's 1992 album — was technically prohibited from inclusion. Just a guess!

<![CDATA[Rock Band DLC's Worst Week Ever?]]> The newly announced DLC for Rock Band is certainly... eclectic. New Children of Bodom joins fresh Naked Brothers Band, all at reduced prices, a mix that Harmonix says is "keeping you on your toes."

There are nine new tracks coming the week of December 2nd, one of which is absolutely free. The rest will set you back just 99 cents (80 Microsoft Points) when they go live on Xbox Live Marketplace next Tuesday and the PlayStation Store next Thursday. Some, however, are for a limited time only.

• Children of Bodom - Are You Dead Yet? ($.99/80 MSP)*
• Finley - Tutto E' Possibile ($.99/80 MSP)*
• Platero y Tu - Hay Poco Rock N Roll ($.99/80 MSP)*
• Squeeze - Tempted ($.99/80 MSP)*
• Tokio Hotel - Ready, Set, Go ($.99/80 MSP)*
• The All-American Rejects - Real World ($.99/80 MSP)*
• Miranda Cosgrove - Headphones On (free)
• Naked Brothers Band - Body I Occupy ($.99/80 MSP)
• Naked Brothers Band - I Don't Want to Go to School ($.99/80 MSP)

Song titles marked with (*) are available at a reduced price for one month only, at which point we expect they'll revert to standard $1.99 / 160 Microsoft Point prices.

Sooooo... what're you buyin'?
