    Oh I love you New Yorker. Why is your subscription so expensive?? Their article on Sir Richard F. Burton was one of the best articles I'd read in a magazine. Their cartoons on Bryn Mawr College are great too. Damn you Bryn Mawr women!

    This seems to be generally known to Brits, but not Americans. I didn't know until a Brit told me. (Maybe it's a euphemism in general use over there?)

    @Ethereus: It starts off slowly and seems easy, and you wonder what all the fuss is about, than slowly it picks up speed, and those odd curveballs the game throws you now again stop being handled easily and start fucking up your little house-of-cards set up, quickly buried by the tons of shit that continues to drop down, till you want to scream "Stop, stop, a moment's respite, Jesus!" Soon they're falling so fast you barely know what's happening. You can see the end take shape--the dread builds as you desperately try to buy more time, knowing it's all futile, than, suddenly, there's one last piece that breaks and your back.

    ...Yeah, turns out it's a lot like that!
