Gah, my RSS feed did not carry over the strikeout text and it looked for a moment like both fist-shaking extremes of the political spectrum had merged into one engorged Hutt from which position it could better divide a society burbling at the mouth with ideological foam and coax us eventually into a mutual destruction the likes of which hasn't been seen since Bart started walking toward Lisa punching forward and Lisa started walking toward Bart lashing out with her feet and everyone got the ass-kicking they deserved.
But there's strikeout text, so apparently we're okay for the time being.
@Jonny_eh: Yes, I'm talking about the current season compared to the older ones. I am *so* over all the relationship drama lately and miss the days when they had better POTWs.
@TetsuBo: You did, as did I... I was stoked but it got me thinking... When the little boy gave him a PSP (2000?) a few seasons ago, it was a really big deal and the PSP was featured throughout the episode...I saw this as pretty blatent product placement but it worked great with the story...
Now with the PSPGo, it was there but not every shown... If sony was paying for product placement, they got screwed this round...If Hugh Laurie actually likes PSP's then its cool he brought it on set... Wonder what the truth is...
What if there are bugs in this game? The obvious solution is to find out the binary sequence of the bug and programme another bug with the exact opposite binary sequence.
Then we zap the iPhone with a few thousand volts. If and when this works depends on how many minutes we have left (in the show).
I do hope Namco brings a Ace Combat to the Wii. I'm a huge fan of the series, but have not played any after The Belkan War because I don't own a 360 or PSP. I also don't 0wn a iPhone, but will surely try to play this one on friends.
@Shin: I have the Jap version, looking forward to it's PAL release in February. I also feel the need for some jet engines and missiles. There is only one fame on the Wii (and it's not half bad, either) that has modern jet fighters, but I have done everything there is to be done in it: Heatseeker
@mikomi15: Never heard anything about it. Aren't you confusing it with "Afterburner Climax" by SEGA? There is already a TOP GUN game fr iPhone, but comapred to Ace Combat, it's very very basic... but now that you mention it, id LOVE to have Afterbuner Climax on the Wii. I think it's only comming to PSN and Live Arcade.
@Shiryu: HAWX did it almost completely wrong. I've got a whole mini-essay I wrote on why HAWX sucked, and I was excited enough about it to preorder the damned game.
@Mikomi: Download an emulator and just play AC1-3 on PSX, or if you can do PS2 emulation, AC4-Zero. Avoid HAWX.
@Shiryu: oh, it's gonna be released in feb ? didn't know that. I guess I'm looking forward to it too then, but I fear the english dub is going to suck.
I heard pretty bad stuff about Heatseeker but I might give it a shit if you guys liked it !
@RedRaptor: oh yeah, thanks for reminding me about ps1 emulation, I just got a 360(and therefore PC) hori flight stick EX(black-new) for a 100€, ...I own all 3 ps2 games too my pc can't handle decent ps2 emulation though...
I hope After Burner climax can be played with that too :D
@RedRaptor: Make sure you get the Jap double CD version of Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere. Stunning game, disregard the western single disc version. Oh, by the way, a video of me appears.
@mikomi15: Yeah, and I don't know about you, but I have a Saitek X52 HOTAS collecting dust that I'm itching to use. Wasn't the PC the king of flight sims once upon a time? What happened?!
@Shiryu: Shame you can't unlock roughly 40% of them without grinding day in and day out, and at least a third of them are 5-6 super-minor variants of the same goddamned plane.
I like Ace Combat's cash unlock system much better. Not to mention all planes unlocked on multiplayer = even playing field.
@RedRaptor: Hacked my way in, when I realised that no matter how much grind id make, it would take me way to long to get get old favourites, or even worse, on the PC, the DLC planes where in the game, but there was no way to unlock them! That's all the excused I needed to hex edit my way into the Saab 35 Draken, which by the way was used in the manga version of Area 88 by Shin Kazama.

Though 16GB probably fails in comparison to Fox Mulder's collection of pre-Internet porn.

The best flight simulators ever ran on less hardware than an iphone. IMO the best fighter sim was F/A 18 Hornet for mac OS 7 / 8 .

@FiveSpeed: You did it wrong, it's not the special sorry I'm so late edition. You know Sony doesn't take straight ports over a year later.

@RedRaptor: Funny you mention those older AC games, I played those games to death.
Namco, if you're reading this, please release an AC Anthology collection! Please!
