Knights of Honor is also 50% off on steam at the moment, bringing it to around $7.49. It is of course a game from 2004, but it is a very good game if you're into castles/kingdoms and strategy. Of course it's not a game for everybody and does require a bit of patience. A lot of the things you need to know aren't mentioned in the tutorial, so part of the fun is exploring the actual game mechanics and interface features.
The + and - keys on the numpad will increase/decrease the speed of the game (which you will need to do all the time).
It also has a perfect soundtrack which you can download for free from the musician's site under the Projects section: http://www.music-marks.com/
@N●Gage Croal: You should still be able to cancel the order unless it shipped. Calling customer service might help though; they're a lot more useful than other support lines.
@N●Gage Croal: If it shipped already you might as well keep it. The cost of return shipping plus the restocking fee will largely negate any savings to be had.
A few things about the headset. This is NOT a usb headset, so be warned. It will not work on most consoles. But if you do still want it, Newegg has the same price and if you apply the following discount code, they will reduce the price to $9.99 and give you free shipping.
Restaurant Empire 2 is actually 75% off for today on GamersGate, and was 50% off as part of the Paradox sale anyhow.
This is the only problem with GamersGate sales, they have no concerns over offering a game at one sale price, only to suddenly offer it at a lower one a few days later.
They've done that now with Sword of the Stars, SpellForce 2 Gold and Restaurant Empire 2.
The best deal this week however, was the $0.10 pricing for 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures on Steam (a mistake in pricing that was only available to those in Australia and New Zealand, but which resulted in a lot of people buying it and gifting it to others!)
Ah. Yes. I spent maybe sixty dollars average on each of those SMT games right around the time Persona 3: FES was about to come out and prices were spiking. That's a grand deal and they are incredible games - I heartily recommend!
Question: Does anyone else often not grab these deals due to shipping costs? I pay for Amazon Prime (free two day shipping if the item comes direct from Amazon) and I've been spoiled by that and the fact that new games often dip to crazy low prices.
Amazon is selling Memory Stick Duos for a pretty good discount. I just bought a 8 gig for $40 opposed to the normal ~$70. They are also selling 4 gig for $30 and 2 gig for $15? Plus if you sign up for Amazon prime and just cancel you get free 2-day shipping.
Gogamer.com 48 hour madness is pretty good this weekend.
PC
Mirror's Edge for $5.90
Prince of Persia for $5.90
Fallout 3 for $32.90
Fallout Collection (Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics) for $10.90
Beyond Good and Evil for $4.90
Prey for $2.90
If you've missed out on any of these games, now would be a good time to pick them up!
Holy cow SMT and Mirror's Edge deals. I already got Mirror's Edge on PS3, but I just got a pretty monstrous new PC rig, and was contemplating getting it on PC for the better graphics and PhysX. At $5.99 now, with free shipping, that's hard to pass up.
I am looking for a couple decent arcade sticks to use for an upcoming Street Fighter IV/ Marvel vs Capcom 2 tournament I'll be hosting at the Best Buy I work at. It's not for about 3 weeks still, but I only have two sticks for the Xbox, and I need two more for the PS3.
If anyone has any insight to some decent sales going on, please let me know! Thanks! :D
@Go Go Gadget: Gizmo: If you need decent sticks QUICK, MadCatz FightSticks are restocked all over these webs for a few dollars less than MSRP. You should get on that, because the only alternative is searching for a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 that has JLF stick, but Hori stock buttons.
If you don't mind being stuck with an okay stick that you can mod later, Hori's fighting sticks are cheap. Go check out the Hori PS3 fighting stick on Amazon. They're under 50 bucks!
@mintycrys is HOT for Bayonetta: I just got my 360 Hori EX2 in the other day, and I've no complaints. Tested it with SFIV and Pac-Man C.E. Can't beat it for $50. I'm sure the PS3 version is the same.
@Outkastprince: Yeah, it is a solid mouse that's for sure. That's also probably why the normal price (~$50)hasn't gone down in the three years since I bought mine.

Logitech's G5 seems like a good deal. If it can survive being thrown each time I make a mistake on some MMORPG, it'll be a must buy.

That means you can get the PS3 bluetooth headset AND a game for less than half the price of the bluetooth headset alone!
