I'm sorry, but this is retarded. Basing your opinion of a human's athletic performance on a computer simulation? This isn't rapid prototyping, this isn't a Shuttle launch, you will not be able to do this accurately in software, at least not for another decade, and even then it will have to be on a supercomputer not a PS3 (which is NOT a supercomputer, due to it's processing design of graphics > gameplay like the other consoles, aka not utilizing out of order execution but rather the same old in-order processing that wastes countless processing cycles). Dynamic DNA maybe be all well-and-fine, but it's not flawless and should not be taken any more seriously than the people who use Madden to predict the outcome of NFL games.
I think it's kind of unfair to bring up an allegation he was acquited of in 2004. I mean, if the rumors are true, the majority of the NBA smokes bud occasionally. It's not like it's performance-enhancing.
But regardless, it just seems a bit strange in the article to make a point of bringing up a defunct charge from four years ago. I realize it was a segway into the story about the gamertag, but I think it's a bit unfair to Carmelo.
I knew the talk of Melo cutting his hair because he was "more mature" was a bullshit, dude. Though I think this look is better than the cornrows, anyway.
Now, if only this hair change can help the Nuggets play some defense.
After I watched my first nuggies game this year I thought for sure Melo finally decided it was costing too much to have his rows redone with the sickness every game. I await his hair's return to dominance as well as the nugs having some depth this year. Chauncy ftw.
@BabyInABlender: Yeah you lucked out getting Billups and McDyess for AI. Finally a REAL PG w/ defense for your Nuggets. I still don't think they can get better than the 8th seed this year still.
@ChalkdustTorture: Did Denver cut Mcdyess or what? I'm sure Detroit gave him away to free up cap space but I'm guessing Denver doesn't want him either.
@kadaj24: I think technically, McDyess belongs to Denver right now, but I read that McDyess refuses to go, and might retire if it comes down to that or playing for the Nuggets. So they'll have to reach some agreement or something to get rid of his contract, and then McDyess be a free agent after 30 days or something.
Overall, I think the Pistons are doing this to clear cap space to go after LeBron, but who knows exactly.
I once made a wager with a friend, where if I won, he had to walk around the local Target where we were both employed at the time with peanut butter on his face singing "I'm a little tea pot". If he won, he would no longer owe me $20. Long story short, I won, and he made good on the bet. It was HILARIOUS.
@y2julio: Look, I have some nice hair. It's pretty damned long too - middle of my back. I can safely say no hair can even come close to comparing to that flowing locks that make up the Crecente God-like mane. You would have to grow your hair out, and shave it all off no less than three times to even come close to making it a fair bet.
@y2julio: Not even close, until you shampoo with angel tears, condition with unicorn blood and have a brush with bristles from Jebus' beard it's not a fair wager like elementary said.
