@Lennon Stephenson: lol, it's funny while at the same time could be innacurate because, IMO, some game's campaigns are better than the online experience. like killzone 2 for example. they said you can replay any section of the game on any difficulty and get better at it each time and it gets funner everytime you play it. even though it's multiplayer should be great, most games are still great without multiplayer. Uncharted por ejemplo.

But this video is awesome... I don't run into a whole lot of little kids in online games, but when Home hit open beta... Before they shut off voice chat in public areas, I was bombarded by 10 year old boys screaming about how they are trying to get into this room or that room or how to get ceratain costumes, and...

*sigh*

My problem on Online games is people who lag intentionally...

That could be said about any online game, really. I've had that happen in Rock Band, Burnout, Gears, everything. He totally should've got capp'd in the head, though. That would have sealed the video quite nicely. Also if the "Check You Connection" icon would've started blinking that would've been even better.

The PSN isn't a whole lot different. I think PC gaming communities are generally are a lot more mature because stupid 13 year olds and frat boys don't like fussing with PC gaming.

@bkchurch: That may very well be true. I think it may also have to do with the fact that most of the really hyped games, for multiplayer at least, are on the consoles. I can't imagine frat boys and angry 12 year olds being much more into games than what they're told is good.

@Shibuya ESPer: I try and stay away from it too. The little time I've spent watching other people play on Live has assured me that I want no part in it.

And you know why the Wii's online base isn't like this, right? 'Cause there isn't one.

(I tried really hard to make that Wii joke funny, and still failed. And I love my Wii, but I'm unsympathetic to Nintendo for giving us poor online _and_ a Brawl that was not very good.)

Mouse = Better.

PC = Better

PC = Less whiny little twats who's balls haven't dropped yet, annoying everyone.

PC = Updates more likely to be free.
