@cyruss: i would be all over that. that would be the ultimate GTA. sure it take years to make, but id be down with a GTA with RPG scale of world maps.

the only controversy would be is to not involve any violent acts involving planes, or during plane travel.... but knowing RS they will push the envelope like they always have :P #grandtheftautoepisodesfromlibertycity...

Well here's a shot in the dark: How about Chicago? GTA seems to be stuck with American turf (but I wouldn't mind playing in another fictionalized country) so it's hard to believe London or France. And in the pic it looks like land surrounded by the great lakes.

But Vice City seems incredibly likely... #grandtheftautoepisodesfromlibertycity...

Resistance 2.
Ghostbusters.
Prototype.
Killzone 2.

I base those predictions on the amount of copies we have of each of those in our store. That is how their gold box days seem to go in the past, but I will probably be proven wrong.

@ebakrevs: They recently had the Amazon exclusive edition of Ghostbusters on sale as a Gold Box deal (79.99 instead of 109.99), so I wouldn't be surprised to see that again.

However, bear in mind it may also be used to clear out stock of larger items, such as Rock Bands, Guitar Heros, and other stuff...

I'd personally like to pick up Madworld and House of the Dead: Overkill for dirt cheap.

@ebakrevs: That list doesn't include any Wii, PSP, DS, or PC titles, and Amazon's never taken "video games" to mean "360 and PS3 only." I wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of those games show up, but that won't be the five items.

@ebakrevs: Some of them will be. It may be an "all day" sale, but there's usually one day-long item, and four or five "lightning deals" that last for three or four hours apiece. Your hypothetical list doesn't leave any room for games for other consoles, and Amazon will...if they don't fill some of the slots with crappy accessories nobody wants, like they have in the past. I can't remember when, but I seem to remember one of Amazon's gold box deals being a collection of Wii controller shells shaped like tennis rackets and golf clubs.

It might be a little early for Ghostbusters; I'm sort of expecting a price cut to maybe $30 (if not cheaper) sometime in October to cash in on Halloween, but I could be wrong. RE5 is fair game, though, and maybe one of the PS3 exclusives you listed.

Sitting in front of a computer at midnight on a Friday reminds me of a few months ago when Facebook allowed custom url tags.

Im looking at the current gold box deals and they seem to be heavily discounted so I'm guessing if there are any new titles that are going to be sold, most likely they'd be $20.

Anyways why is amazon choosing that specific time to sell video game products. I think they're trying to imply something but I can quite put my finger on it.
