I'm not watching any of these trailers? Why?
Because I know I'll buy it just on the very fact that it will allow me to put another couple of hours into my level 30 character, and I know it probably will be awesome... so why spoil the fun?
Okay, I will admit, a good trailer can easily turn my opinion around on something like this. At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to be excited for this or not, but now... yeah, I can't wait.
@Maazer: It's the alien distress signal that you can tune into around the crashed spaceship area. Apparently, it's just a high-pitched, reversed, and sped up clip of a guy saying "The alien is never alive."
But yeah, they were probably going for this effect.
@BryanGuitarDude: I was thinking the same thing - especially if you went limited edition or something, you could be well over $100.
And then the special edition comes around for the price of just the DLC. I wish there was some to reward the fans who support the game up front, rather than those who hop on at the end.
The GOTY edition is awesome for newbies, but it just sucks for the people who were in a t the beginning.
@NeVeRMoRe666: And to add to that a game of the year edition should be coming out by Christmas that will have all the downloadable content, plus the game for $60.
@lionkitten: Your reward is that you've already gotten to play it all. You HAD to have it when it first came out, so you paid for it. You could have waited like the rest of us. This is no different than any other game. If you want to play Dawn of War 40K (the first one, not part II) you can pick up the Platinum pack (the first game and 2 add on's) for $30 bucks now (if not less.) But those that HAD to play it when it first came out (myself included) paid for it. And I was happy to do so.
I'm better off throwing away my PS3 version and buying another version. However, FO3 is just too good to ditch. But the delays on the PS3 add-ons are nearly unforgivable.
@BubbleF**kingBuddy: That is a good idea. But that will probably get delayed too. We have NO DLC. If they were going to do this, I would of rather of had no PS3 version at all. It just bugs to see this because the PS3 version has a release date of "eventually".
@SanjiX: Just get the PC version. Pirate it, since you own the PS3 version...and then screw them over by pirating the DLC too. I mean...they screwed you by not putting it on the PS3 after you paid for the game =/
Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games... but I'm not really into all the DLC stuff. The most fun part of FAllout 3 for me is wandering around in the wasteland and stumbling upon different quests. These single mission packs pretty much ignore that aspect.
Plus, I'm not interested in spending a total of $100 for a game.
@ReconToaster.: See if you had kept up, it was $10 a month. Hardly breaking the bank, even for crackheads. And all but OA are well worth the money. PL was better than The Lost and Damned imo.
@Phil Ken Sebben: maybe you'll get a little spaceship to fly around the wasteland with and shooting alien lasers at pesky super mutants and deathclaws all while you, fawkes, and dogmeat are chilling in the sky
@GrumpierGrunt: Yeah, probably a safe bet. At least wait a good 16 hours before downloading it. I'm sure Kotaku will have Mothership Zeta ears out for any bugs.

On a side note: Why do aliens lust after human anus? Is it a potent sexual device like ManHorn?

I'm not much an alien spaceship stuff fan, but being a Fallout 3 and Bethesda stuff makes me wanna give it a try.
Still have a long way playing my "bad guy" campaign, so hopefully the PC expansion will be available 'till then...

Aliens wanted Earth so they caused the war. You'll find Chinese and US items from Anchorage on the ship.

Okay, who wants to take bets on when the DLC will get patched because it's buggy... like the other DLCs when they dropped?
But still... ALIENS!
