I'm not sure whether to face palm at the lack of restraint (and significant lack of manlyness) this guy showed, or whether to facepalm at the lack of his mother just packing his bag and kicking his uselss ass onto the street.
I guess he'll get a fist hand lesson on how to be a bitch.
@RiceBandit: That's funny, my mom called me a "son of a bitch" once. I said, "I agree!" I was slapped as hard as if I'd actually called her one. Thought I was being clever.
Somehow I feel like the lawyers and bottom-feeders are going to find some way to latch onto this kid. I don't know what cockamamie claim will be made, but something will come of this instead of someone just calling him on being a worthless, spoiled piece of shit. Honestly, who throws a taco?
For all those saying "he's just a kid, the mother should have done X thing"...
He's 19. 19 friggin' years old.
Now, he more than likely got to be so disrespectful because he wasn't disciplined properly as a child. But at this point, she has every right to call the cops on him. It's exactly what would have happened had he thrown a taco at someone else.
What kind of a dumbass news channel would air such an absurdly non-newsworthy story? Idiots. But I'm glad you guys posted it, as I enjoy seeing how stupid the news can be. I once saw a news story about a cat getting stuck in a drainpipe. How bored must these newscasters be?
@memot: You say that now. Call me back when you're plowed and you're standing in line at a Jack in the Box or Taco Hell with all of three dollars in your pocket.
My real question is How could he do that on taco night? Taco night the best thing ever for a gamer. When I hear it is taco night I jolt to the kitchen. Nuff' said.
That is what you get from letting him do what he pleases all his life, a kid needs to learn discipline & respect toward their parents and other grownups.
@EnigmaNemesis: Doesn't sound like this kid should have gotten an xbox for christmas... that would have been a start :/ She should have gotten creative and found ways around the belt and timeout when he was young... though it sounds like this kid could use a good kick in the ass.
I agree, but it is easier said than done from when I grew up.
You feared the slap, now kids are given more power than the parents, and fear nothing. Especially when they are sat in front of the tube and being baby sat by that their whole life. Of course that is probably where she first went wrong.

If he is back in the house, she could goad him with it. "Remember the last time we had Tacos," with her hand hovering over the telephone.
Or if he isn't in the house she could just make them once a year on the anniversary as sort of a commemorative meal.
Oh there is so many ways this is funny. Thanks again.

Sad part is, society more and more takes the power out of the parents hands.
