Midway probably won't be happy at the lost rental revenues (why else would you pick the game up?), but whatever. Here's a clip showing every single fatality that can be performed in Mortal Kombat vs DC. Even the Joker's move that was cut from the US version. Some of them are pretty neat, but for a game involving comic book superheroes, we were hoping for a little showmanship.

Which show that the Joker loves nothing more than a good punch in the face. And that Green Lantern's looking look like our first choice character when we get our hands on the game.

Is the concept for Mortal Kombat Vs. The DC Universe as silly in action as it is in theory? Yes. Yes it is. GamesRadar has the exclusive trailer shown at the Midway Gamer's Day Event, and as you can see...yeah. The worst part? You just know they are going to include Aquaman. I say kick it up a notch and make Aquaman a timed underwater boss fight. Go crazy with it!

Next Mortal Kombat Is...MK v DC?

Mortal Kombat fan site Mortal Kombat Online are claiming that this image (click for bigger version), supplied to them by "a source within Midway", is the first piece of official art from the next Mortal Kombat game. And yeah, as you can guess from the miserable, hulking guy on the right, it'll be a Mortal Kombat vs DC game. Out of love for the DC universe, I'm trying to both accept this is real and be excited about it, but...firstly, there hasn't been a decent Mortal Kombat game in over ten years, and second...hey guys, Capcom did this a little while ago. With Marvel. You may have heard of it. Little late to the comics crossover party, aren't we?
