I wish Capcom would bring DarkStalkers back. Given they're in such a sequel developing mood, I hope somebody raises the matter of a Vampire Saviour sequel at the enxt meeting.

Granted, if Capcom did make a 3D Darkstalkers, I'd totally buy it. But let's face it, Capcom has pretty much told us that the most work they feel like putting into that series is 'Franken-spriting' Donovan and Demitri to make that horrible Dee character. The series is just completely dead at this point, and I get the feeling we'll see a new fighting game property from Capcom before we see a new Darkstalkers.

Well, she does get an ALL-NEW 3D model in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom...
Though, I think it would've been hilarious if, just to troll us, Capcom reused her old 2D sprites for TvC, while everyone else was in 3D.

@Kuma: Your right, Capcom couldn't make a 2D Darkstalkers game right. That's why, like they when they wanted a Sengoku Basara fighting game, they should commission it out to another company. Arc System Works or SNK, with their fondness for 2D fighters, should be perfect for the job. It's even quite obvious that Guilty Gear took more than a little inspiration from Darkstalkers.
Or hell, maybe Capcom should just sell Darkstalkers. They obviously aren't going to use the property for anything other than crossover games, so it may as well be dead at this point.
As it stands, my love of fighters is pretty much Darkstalkers > SNK Fighters > All other Capcom Fighters. It really pisses me off that it has been a decade since my favorite fighting series has seen anything new.
