    To be consistent with the game while making this throw Evan disappeared only to reappear trapped in the crowd with the ball ending up in the outfield as the left and center fielders collide and the ball then bouncing up and hitting the right fielder in the head as the hitter runs home for an inside the park homerun, only to be then stuck in an animation loop running around the plate

    The red backdrops make me think that they're going to do a CE for 2K10, which would be insane since they've been struggling to make a mediocre baseball for a few years.

    The bigger issue is why these covers say 2K10's the tenth anniversary of the series since it started with World Series Baseball 2k2, which only means that this is the eighth anniversary and ninth entry in the series. #mlb2k10

    @fauxbravo: Oh, agreed, but I mean, that top picture is one of the most awkward, misplaced cover images I've seen. With sports titles, you need the action shot. The game isn't about the player; it's about the sport. #mlb2k10

    @bangbangblah: I would love to play that, and always gush over the screenshots when it comes out, but I only have a 360. If somehow they could secure the rights and get it ported to the rest of the systems I would definitely get it, but that seems unlikely. #mlb2k10

    @Tom Servo: If you had given up on buying MLB 2k for the past five years and used that money to pay for a PS3 instead, you could have it right now. ; )

    Or you could just hit up TV's Frank for one . . .

    I doubt you'll get it ported, though, since it's a Sony product. If you have a PS2, you could check out last year's version. Sure, the graphics aren't quite the same, but even the PS2 version is better than the current 2K games, in my opinion. #mlb2k10

    I really don't like the red in the cover. I'd prefer one of the two white designs, probably the bottom left choice.

    Of course, I'm probably not going to buy the game anyway, so what does my opinion matter? #mlb2k10

    @Michael Dukakis: Yeah, thank god it's not just Jeter. Nice to have some love for the smaller teams.

    It would have been cool to see Zach Greinke on the cover. I'm not even a Royals fan, I just think he's an amazingly under-appreciated player because of his market. #mlb2k10

    I'm wondering if people who take these marketing surveys even worry about legal action that might be taken against them if they leak this kind of stuff.

    I've taken some game related marketing surveys and I've seen a glimpse or two of future titles in some franchises but I worry about legal action :)

    You know what's the best thing? We were friendly before she graduated; she was my Field Production TA (Ithaca College). She went off to LA, and we didn't chat often after that. One day a friend tweeted that they wanted to have a sex scandal after they graduated IC, and I read an article that mentioned Brooke but didn't have a picture. It didn't mean anything until I saw the picture, and then I lost my shit laughing, intensified because for once, I knew who the chick was.

    On topic? That sucks for 2K, I guess? But banging sub-attractive college graduates doesn't affect your ability to generate color commentary (at least as far as I know) and I don't think 2K should worry about it. I'm pretty sure people won't skip the game just because it has "That Steve guy who banged the NY Post's 'tubby temptress.'"
