I live in the Middle East, with a Region 1 XBox I brought with me from the States. I'd love for Games on Demand to actually have new releases, such as Brutal Legend. Then I'll use the service.

Getting games here can be a pain, unless I want to mod my xbox and then zip over to the souq and buy games for $3 each... #armyoftwo

Personally speaking, i will never ever use the games on demand service. The long and short of it is, hard drive space isn't exactly growing on trees if you are stuck with a 20gb HDD. Upgrading it is out of the question for sane people who don't have tons of cash laying around. Microsoft only hurt themselves when it comes to DD by not selling their hard drives at reasonable prices.

That and i'm sure i could find the game cheaper at a brick or online retailer.

@Xucuroz: Even with 120gb, all of those Rock Band tracks and game installs to save the wear and tear on the disc drive really add up. #armyoftwo

@stop2: I agree. It's an enjoyable game with some flaws namely the last stage and the last boss.

You know how long it took me to finish 1 trail run in eggmanland so that I could get the hot dog there for the trophy to get 1 of every food?

6 hours. 6 hours of nonstop gaming. And that's with as many shortcuts I could handle. Took a break to go pee but that's about it. The game's fun but has some serious flaws. #armyoftwo

@Emilia: I probably spent about 4 hours total getting that first successful run.

However, I didn't stop there, I wanted ALL the trophies so I had to do it three times @_@ I think I only failed once after that, though. After you get the first run in it becomes easier to pass it. I didn't view that as a flaw, though. Just the ultimate, final challenge of the game.

But yeah, the game is seriously underrated. I think all its low reviews are due to reviewers sucking at video games, therefore being unable to get any fun out of the day levels, and them being angry that the night levels even exist, instead of reviewing them for what they are (solid action-game material... just with Sonic).

@Mit: I could have figured something like that. Unfortunately I was tired of the game, turned it off and didn't play it for a couple of weeks. So I doubt I'd be able to finish the trails very easily :) Having the platinum trophy in Sonic Unleashed is something you can most definitely can brag about.

And that wasn't really the flaw, that was just a ridiculously hard trophy! The flaw were the entire last world and last boss when trying to finish the game. You better have 99 extra lives a seriously good reflexes (50 button presses in 10 seconds when it comes at you like a surprise, really?) and if you run out of extra lives on the last boss you gotta do the eggmanland stage all over <-- Not 100% sure on that, been a while since I played.

And yes, most people were probably butt hurt for it not being old school sonic and forgot to see the entire game as for what it was. A fast platforming game with action! #armyoftwo

Do MS have any guarantee on these games?
Like in 5 years you'll be able to re-grab them from your account.
As 360 has no disc burner you can't exactly back em up like Steam lets you.
Cos I'd say the fear of these games not working next gen would be enough to push you away, never mind the high prices.

@MajorNewbie: But in 5 years time you can still play your physical copies on your PS3 or 360. They can't be taken away, or shut down.
XBLA could be turned off in a few years maybe for a new service to take its place, what's to say MS will still honour your downloads. #armyoftwo

When it comes to digital distro for large games, I trust Steam more than MS. So far I haven't seen one thing in there that I don't already own.

Except for GTA4 because I'm a lazy bastard who needs to buy a new copy (gave it to my bro for his birthday). I'd rather wait for the game and episodes to be shipped together.

ridiculous prices!!! the people who actually are buying these game digitally are SCREWING us all by them setting the STANDARD in the pricee in which these games will sell!!!! They should not cost what a physical copy does and in some cases more! #armyoftwo

@Lozmaster: Agreed. I got Civilization Revolution used for $25, and it came with the disc, the original case, and the instruction booklet. On the other hand, I could have paid $30 on XBL and gotten none of those things. Where's the benefit here? #armyoftwo

Having 10 game stores within 5 miles of my house, convenience for me is either price, or availability of a hard-to-find game (i.e. Ico). GoD offeres me neither of those.

I will say, though, I'd buy Burnout Paradise or Oblivion if the price tag included all of the DLC. #armyoftwo

Army of Two at $20 is a good price for anyone who hasn't played it yet. The sequel looks to be shaping up well so a little background before diving in seems like a good idea.

One word of warning though. Do Not play on your own. You need another human playing along to enjoy this game. The partner AI is a bit pony. #armyoftwo

@mindf1ow: If you go through the Xbox support site they'll "loan" you one. Which means they'll send it to you for free and only charge you if you don't give it back. You might need proof of purchase, though
